Charcoal Drawing.

I was talking with Sharlee last night and she suggested that i post one of my drawings, So, I snapped it with my phone (might be blury)

Better than I can do.

Such nice technique and use of texture.

I was talking with Sharlee about this yesterday, was explaining i actually have to SEE what im drawing. This was in a magazine i think, small and i just more or less sketch what i see, i dont have the ability to remmeber what i see. maybe with pratice?

Do you just draw freehand without the use of guides or construction lines?

The technique is very good - such nice attention to texture, detail and rendering.

The reflection on the eye of the animal is spot on.

I draw free hand but i have to see something to draw to get the detail, i mean anyone can draw a shape, its to see the shades and lite is what i lack. have to see it to draw it.

That's pretty good then, no construction lines, preparation.

I guess that's taken from one of your photos?
