I bought a half an ounce of Gold last night....

Unread post by J0E »

....in anticipation that it might go up today.

It's seen a slight bounce this morning, worth more than I paid for it.

Mind you, I think I'm near the end of my Gold buying spree, particularly for this year.

Might buy a bit here and there, but not too much more.

I started buying last year when gold was around $1700 US an ounce.

Today it's trading around $2380 - $2400 US per ounce depending on which Index you follow:

https://goldprice.org/

Usually when something rises this fast, it's best to start pulling back in the buying dept.

Think I'm mostly finished for the year.

Do you have any MAD or Cracked magazines used to read those back on the day.

What do ya think Seamajor?

Should I buy more Gold?

Goldman Sachs sez we're headed for $2700 US soon.

Citibank says $3000 in 2.

I’ve been buying from an outlet in Texas. Guess I’ll have to renew my Costco card. I could then buy the large package or TP, at the same time. Gold is doing well, as Merica sinks into the abyss.

Speaking of gold, nine people were arrested for the heist of 20 million dollars of gold bars and a couple million dollars of foreign currency from Pearson airport in Toronto a while back. The men were of East Indian and middle eastern descent. One was an east indian who worked for Air Canada. They were melting the gold down into crude jewelry like bracelets and selling it out of a jewelry store one of the accused owned. They found the smelter and not much cash.

I came to get down.

Last time I checked, they don’t give it away. So yeah, or use your debit card.
