Vancouver forum is an open forum which daily sketches the diversity and the commonality of Vancouverites. It is also an online community where you can discover and discuss various aspects of life in Vancouver and the world at large. If you are a visitor or a soon-to-be resident of Vancouver, or simply have an interest in it, you are more than welcome to join the group of Vancouver Forum posters, but know that any questions you may have about the city and its neighborhoods, the quality of life and lifestyle, are likely going to be met with a barrage of insults by some our resident comedians.

If you are a Vancouverite who just stumbled upon these pages, you'd best get the hell out of here before anyone sees you, but if you do decide to join in, for God's sake don't tell them your ethnicity or you may never hear the end of it! Do not be surprised by uncensored and sometimes blatantly stupid, crazy, remarks that shouldn't ever be spoken in private, let alone on a public forum. If that still hasn't deterred you, then you probably have a thick enough skin and a good enough sense of humour to handle this place. Good luck. You're going to need it!

You can stop now. Everyone is aware that there is a global financial crisis. Thanks for the (very) old news dummy.

Silly boy Conan ... While you are in a panic and frightened of China, wrapped up in your own little world of hate and Sinophobia Europe is going to spring up, seemingly from nowhere, and shock the pants off you. You are preoccupied by the loud distraction of China and should be focussing your limited attention span elsewhere ... on Europe.

Well then perhaps you can provide an invasion date. Logically, wouldn't that be the next all important piece of information to add after all your wasted years of bleating, whining and babbling?

I'm positive that your countless thousands of anonymous, invisible and imaginary friends are clamoring for the news. You owe it to them if nothing else, don't you think? So what is the date Docboy?

Dum de dum de doe de dum, ho hum, waiting, waiting, patiently waiting for the date. Hmmm ... I wonder what the holdup could be? Why is it that Docboy finds it soooo difficult to come up with one single, solitary date for when the invasion will commence?

I guess I'll just have to remind him that if he wants so desperatly to be believed it's time for him to cough up some credible and verifiable information.

So Doc, what is the invasion date?

Meanwhile China's economy is slowing..er correcting shall we say..he he. What this will mean for the rest of the world will be nothing short of devastating, Canada incl. China has planned this knowing it can emerge relatively unscathed and know it can take its pick what it wants to do thereafter.

Hurry up little one ... I don't have all day. What is the invasion date? I mean, gosh, the invasion that has been 1000 years in the making could come as early as tomorrow or the next day and your 180,000 invisible, anonymous and make believe best friends wouldn't have a chance, would they? So fess up for thier sake if no one else's. What is the invasion date?
