Smart Meters: Infiltration By A Foreign Country?

Unread postby the shark hunter » 05 Jul 2012, 14:52

... it's official -- the smart meters that bc hydro has installed everywhere in british columbia are a total, unmitigated flop ...

... but could the installation of these faulty smart meters be a plot by a foreign country to infiltrate and aggravate us as part of a political dispute of some kind?

... where are those malfunctioning smart meters manufactured anyway?

It took you this long to figure out?

I believe the meters are manufactured in... China!

... surely the smart meters are canadian made thus ensuring the utmost attention to any possible national security issues ...

... but if they aren't canadian made can the british columbia gordon campbell government tell us what kinds of security measures are in place, if any, to repel possible malicious or underhanded actions by the country manufacturing the smart meters? they were manufactured by a friendly country, right?

What national security issues? Smart meters record electricity consumption.

... who knows? they could easily be ticking time bombs counting down to detonation ...

... ultimately though the malfunctioning smart meter scandal is good for the people of british columbia. if the bc government was so maligantly stupid that it allowed itself to be set up by a foreign power then it means it's on the way out ...

... good riddance to the bc government ...

"They could easily be ticking time bombs counting down to detonation."

It couldn't be that easy, considering they're smart meters and not ticking time bombs.

What smart meter scandal? If the BC Liberals are going to lose the next election it'll be because of a lot more reasons than the smart meters.

SM's also measure the IQ's of certain individuals. Conan doesn't register on the meter though ... Seems that in order to measure an IQ the first requirement is to have one.

I've heard about that. There have only been a few complaints. Not quite a scandal yet.

... maybe not by your standards ...

... however, the scandal is in fact so widespread i've seen it on the front page of the newspaper, on the television, on the radio, on the internet and i've even got a friend who's been victimized by hydro's fraudulent billing scam ...

... if the government-sponsored media is admitting there's a smart meter problem then it must be a pretty big problem indeed ...

What I'm saying is that, scandal or not the whole thing is blown completely out of proportion to the perceived "problem." I don't know you, at least by your current nom de plume so I'll remain neutral on your viewpoint until I see more from you.

My experience with Conan The Dummy is a whole different matter though. He is a prolific liar of great renown and a thief. An unclean and deceitfull piece of human waste, fit only for mockery and to be laughed at. Whatever he is involved in or believes, anything, has its genesis in a lie. He is a pig ... a sinophobic, racist and China-obsessed hater.
