dammit weebs, the karina dating apology has brought out the western 'news' media and surprise surprise, the american culture war has extended it's reach into k-pop. all i can say is fuck off american 'news' media. korea has the freedom to run it's kpop music business the way it's been doing despite all the newfound hate you point it's way.

i think (g)i-dle are pretty close to coming back from hiatus. i think they were all exhausted from an overly busy schedule but the thing about idols is you have to strike while the iron's hot.
so this is a (g)i-dle cover from one of my favorite nugu groups. if you're wondering why it sounds like it should be on the soundtrack of an anime or manga x k-drama is because soyeon is actually otaku and so are two of the idols doing the cover. the main singer was also a j-pop idol in the group nmb48.

korea had it's own me too moment but it was more of a victims of school bullying having their revenge moment. revenge is best served after debut.
le sserafim lost a member shortly after debut because one of their members was accused of school bullying shortly before their debut. luckily she only participated on the debut single and newly minted le sserafim fans were only there for sakura and chaewon anyway.
