Good seats...if you don't have good seats stay home and listen to a record. They are only doing a couple of dates in Canada and they're both down east. One is with Frenchmen (frogs) no less:(

I had orchestra seating (ground floor) at a Scorpions concert and not a single concert-going fucker stayed in their chair; everyone was standing up, and most fuckers in the first few front rows were standing on their folding chairs, completely obstructing the view. I never bought orchestra seats afterwards.

Thanks. How could I not? I don't get a lot of happy spots in life because I'm too busy working but when I get one, it's damn good!

You would expect that at a Scorpions show back then, LOL.
It was a small theater setting. I like to get up-front balcony seats but this place is a bowl. Still, not a bad seat in the house. And it was a sit-down crowd but that's the kind of band they are. Sit there, watch and listen and be blown away.

Intermission happened at 9:30. I'm not gonna say they played for an hour and a half because I'm not sure when they got on stage. They might have been 15 minutes late but they played nonstop and in your face for over an hour, one song after another. It was pretty intense.

The second set was a little more laid back. (as it could be, they were still jamming hard) Songs from their new album and closing the show with some favorites or whatever.

For people who say Joy Division were no fun, just look at Hooky's blonde hair. The rest of the band told him to bleach it and they said they would too, but it was all a piss take on poor Hooky. Brilliant stuff, lads.
