Aw sweetie… dr ken berry has rosacea and he had to take medications for it before he went carnivore. Apparently he doesn’t need them anymore as he is not eating inflammatory foods any more. Now he just sports his healthy redneck tan, in his own words, because he has a farm and actually does the farm work on it.

I did a search just now for "carnivore diet red face" - more than just Dr. Berry. It looks very common.

Meat, you'll have meat eating bacteria. We're made of meat ... so, do you want a high population of meat eating microbiota? Up to you, but make sure they have competition, at least. bunk, sweetie. we don't need microbiome to digest meat. remember pepsin and HCL in your gut? they do the job right then and there, and any fat that comes with meat is digested by your bile in your duodenum. nice and easy. colon is not for absorption, it's for waste only. ppl with colostomy bags on plant food have reported plant pieces (corn, kale, apple, whatehave you), undigested, in their bags. when they would eat meat - only waste goes into the colostomy bag, no food-like stuff.

good point, meem. problem is we were carnivorous much longer than we've been omnivorous so some of the designing is still left to do. and it's being done as we speak, chisel and hammer to our metabolism and such.

good point, meem. problem is we were carnivorous much longer than we've been omnivorous so some of the designing is still left to do. and it's being done as we speak, chisel and hammer to our metabolism and such.
No problem for a person with a mouthful of teeth designed to eat meat, to chomp away on kale.
But a person with a mouthful of teeth only designed to eat plants, is going to have a tough time with a steak.
Molars for herbivores and canines and incisors for carnivores. We have both. Why. I can only think it means were were meant to eat both.
