There are two dead sealions on the beach, and the eagles are all jockeying for position. Many many eagles.
I'm always amazed that the juveniles are so much larger than the adult eagles. Crazy huge.

Having said that, I suspect the fishermen took matters into their own hands during the recent herring spawn. Fishermen hate seals and sealions and only see them as cutting into their profit.

Eagles will eat anything. It def has a nest with babies at this time, perfect find of the day.

Eagles are huge...I think a lot of people under estimate their size and strength. I've seen them swoop near is when I lived in the koots.

Eagles have a wing span of 2+ meters. Their claws are deadly. Good enough to take your cat or a small dog..

Yesterday when I was working in my garden there were 4 bald eagles flying above. They circled for a bit then moved on.
