I think the biggest events I was part of were state wide competitions in high school ... music and debate.

Depression is one of those things that people have to go through alone, I guess. It's just really difficult to watch someone who's so amazing feel so badly about themselves.

I just got off the phone with a friend who is severely depressed. I feel so helpless.
