Photos From Long Ago

Post: # 22130Unread post Gary Oak »

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -Bowl.html

Last year I read Grapes Of Wrath which I really enjoyed. As it was written by a brilliant author right at the time of the thirties he naturally was able to use details that even a PHD historian today would have overlooked. This book took me back in time to a different time and place. After reading this book I am getting alot more out of looking at these photos. After reading Forbidden Science and learning a tiny but about quantum physics what I had noticed at an earlier time that when I visualise myself in a photo the details of the photo come alive could possibly mean that I actually am putting myself in the scene to some degree. Try it yourself with these photos. Visualise yourself walking in the photo while you look at it.

Good movie :) love the old photos also Gary .
I often wonder what I would have done then, such a hard time for many.
Of course I talk to myself. Sometimes I need expert advise, and a good conversation.

I saw a lot of pictures, that were taken by various people, from scenes from the thirty's.

Most were not pleasant at all.
I don't concern myself, with other peoples thoughts. They can think what they want, and grind it around in their head. I always get a good nights rest. They however, are exhausted, thinking about me. My trade mark,

Amazing pictures ... they really tell the story of devastation and desperation.

I don't have many, but do have a few like my grandparents, and others like that.
Nothing special to most, but shows the styles of the time.

Great pictures! You know, I really think that aside from their weird, wrinkly faces, turkeys are beautiful animals.

I don't know that it would have been a great symbol for America ... we don't want people drooling every time they think of our country!

They fly, but yeah some of the more heavy don't that much. Most the time people see them they are on the ground so they think hey they don't fly.

These photos are of Paris in 1914. I imagine just before WW1 got underway. I can just imagine myself walking down the streets in these photos and the whole scene just comes alive.
