The Third Temple

Post: # 36401Unread post Blue Frost »

Danial was speaking of the many false gods, Moloch, and Baal the storm god in particular, and the sacrifices of innocents.
The story of Danial is really a great one to read, lots of incite of the people of that time even if someone doesn't believe in the bible.

Kind of like the Grove isn't it

Blood Moons And The Third Temple

Post: # 48179Unread post Gary Oak »

http://beforeitsnews.com/prophecy/2013/ ... ttedPage=2

Take a look at the coincidences with these blood moons. That is 7 years exactly from the 2008 Rosh Hashana biggest market drop in history which was seven years exactly from day one in the war on terror with the 1st day of bombing in Afghanistan on Rosh Hashana 2001. Rosh Hashana is the Jewish holiday for the beginning of the world and is also known as the day that nobody knows. Some speculate that as Rosh Hashana is known as the day that nobody knows is the day that the rapture will happen as the bible says that no man knows the day nor hour.

Israeli Minister: We Should Rebuild Jerusalem Temple

http://www.israeltoday.co

An Israeli cabinet minister last week publicly stated that perhaps the time has come to rebuild the biblical Temple on Jerusalem's Temple Mount.

Most Israelis has no aspirations of rebuilding the Temple. Even among those who would like to see the Temple restored, most do not believe Israel can undertake something so controversial absent a direct act of God.

But that didn't stop Housing and Construction Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) from stating that "we need to build a real Temple on the Temple Mount."

Ariel was speaking at a press event in the Samarian community of Shilo, where archaeologists have uncovered remains of the biblical Tabernacle that was located there for hundreds of years before King David's conquest of Jerusalem.

The Ark Of The Covenant Needs To Be Moved

Post: # 51967Unread post Gary Oak »

It seems to me that the third temple will need the ark of the covenant. Perhaps this talk of building the third temple is partially inspired by Jews who know exactly where this ark is and that it exists

Will This Be The First Time The World Sees The Ark Of Covenant? Leaking Roof In Ethiopian Chapel 'Will Lead To Relic Being Revealed'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk

A very British problem of a leaky church roof could be about to give the world the chance to glimpse the legendary Ark of the Covenant.

That's because the claimed home of the iconic relic - a small chapel in Ethiopia - has sprung a leak and so the Ark could now be on the move.

The Ark - which The Bible says holds God's Ten Commandments given to Moses on Mount Sinai - is said to have been kept in Aksum, in the Chapel of the Tablet, adjacent to St Mary of Zion Church, since the 1960s.

According to the Old Testament, it was first kept in the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem for centuries until a Babylonian invasion in the 6th century BC.

Since then it's been the goal of many adventurers and archaeologists to find it. Most-famously, but also fictitiously, Indiana Jones was shown in the 1981 Steven Spielberg film Raiders of the Lost Ark.

There has also been a long-running claim from the Orthodox Christians of Ethiopia that they have had the Ark for centuries, and since the 1960s it has apparently been kept in the chapel.

This small and curiously-styled building is surrounded by spiked iron railings, and situated between two churches, the old and new, of St Mary of Zion in central Aksum.

No one has been allowed to see the holy object, described in scripture as being made from acacia wood, plated with gold and topped with two golden angels, except one solitary elderly monk, who must watch over the Ark for the remainder of his life, and is never allowed to leave the chapel grounds.

But now the chapel - which was designed by the Ethiopian leader Emperor Hailie Selassie - has had to be covered in a tarpaulin to stop rain getting in.

The water damage could mean the Ark will be moved for the first time in decades giving religious worshippers and adventurers alike a chance to see it.

British photographer Tim Makins, 54, who is a travel photographer for publications like Lonely Planet, discovered the church had sprung a leak whilst travelling through Ethiopia last September.

He believes the moving of the Ark could be one of the best ways to discover if there's any truth in the claims of the East African state.

Tim said: 'During my most recent visit to the church, I was surprised to see some ground adjacent to the ''Chapel of the Tablet'' being cleared and levelled by workmen, and some quantities of building stone being assembled nearby.

'Asking around, I managed to discover that a new temporary chapel is due to be built, and the Ark is to be moved into it while the original chapel is repaired.

'It seems that the builders of the 1960s were not as careful as the builders of centuries past, and the roof of the chapel has developed some serious leaks that now need comprehensive repair work.

'To protect the Ark, a tarpaulin now covers the roof of the chapel but this is just a temporary measure.

'To renovate the building thoroughly, the roof must be stripped back to the bare bones and so a replacement chapel is to be built next door providing a temporary home for it.'

Tim said the construction of the new temporary chapel would take about three months according to workers and religious figures at the site, though he suspects that it will probably take much longer.

He added: 'When the work is finished, the Ark of the Covenant will be carried to its new resting place.'

'That this can be done by the one person allowed to see it is unlikely, as The Bible describes the size of the Ark as 2.5 cubits in length, 1.5 in breadth, and 1.5 in height.

'Cubits in today's measurements translate to about 1.31 metres x 0.79m x 0.79m and it is normally carried on two long wooden poles.

'If it really is this size, and still contains the two stone tablets that list God's Ten Commandments, then the elderly monk will no doubt need some help to transport it.'

From the documentary's I have seen i don't believe the Ethiopian Chapel has the ark, and if they did why hasn't someone taken it already.

One Third Of Israeli Jews Want Temple Rebuilt In Jerusalem, Poll Finds

http://www.haaretz.com

Right-wing organizations devoted to the Temple Mount are buoyed by a new poll they commissioned finding that 30 percent of Israeli Jews support rebuilding the Jewish Temple on the site.

When the poll, commissioned by the Joint Forum of Temple Mount Organizations, asked Israeli Jews, "Are you for or against erecting a Temple on the Temple Mount?" 30 per cent answered in the affirmative, while 45 percent were against and 25 percent said they were not sure.

Among the numerous Temple Mount organizations that initiated the survey, activists are pleased. he results, they believe, show a strengthening of public perception that the Temple Mount is Judaism's holiest and most important site.

The survey was released ahead of next week's Tisha B'Av Jewish day of mourning for the destruction of the First and Second Temples.

Pressure groups

The last few years have seen changing attitudes to the Temple Mount among the national religious and ultra-Orthodox sectors.

There are currently dozens of movements working to change the status quo at the holy site. Some are reconstructing ceremonial objects used in the Temple in the past, while others are making practical preparations for its rebuilding, including a renewal of animal sacrifice. Others deal in political lobbying and in encouraging Jews to visit the Mount.

A growing demand gathering political support is for the status quo on the Mount to be changed so Jews will be able to pray there. The police currently prohibit Jews from praying on the Mount, fearing an outbreak of violence.

Among religious Jews questioned in the survey, 43 percent supported the construction of a Temple, compared to 20 percent among the ultra-Orthodox and the national ultra-Orthodox, and 31 percent among secular Jews.

The survey was financed by a fund called the Israel Independence Fund, and was conducted with 523 Israeli Jewish participants.

"Attempts to distance the People of Israel from its holiest site have failed," said Yehuda Glick, spokesman for the forum of Temple Mount organizations that commissioned the survey.

"State authorities should pay attention to what the nation has said, demanding the imposition of the state's sovereignty on the Temple Mount."

Putting the issue on the agenda

Yet Tomer Persico, a researcher of religions who is studying these movements, dismissed the survey's import.

"How does this commit you to anything when you answer that you are in favor of building the Temple? It doesn't imply that you mean for this to happen right away. [But] without doubt, the survey does indicate that these movements have succeeded in placing the issue on the public's agenda."

The survey further found that among the Israeli Jewish public there is a strong majority (59 percent ) that favors the demand to change the status quo on the Mount. The survey asked whether "the state should enforce an agreement on the Mount, similar to one that exists in the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron, which is shared by Jews and Moslems." Only 23 percent of respondents answered "no" to this question.

Analysis of the survey's results shows a significant change in attitudes among the national-religious public.

While visiting the Mount used to be taboo, 68 percent of religious respondents in the current survey said they would like to come to the site "as part of a visit to Jerusalem." Sixty percent of secular Jews answered the same way, while only 20 percent of ultra-Orthodox respondents expressed such a wish.

In response to a question over whether the state should enforce the right of Jews to pray on the Mount, 70 percent of religious participants answered affirmatively, while 22 percent objected. In all, 48 percent of respondents agreed with such a move.

However, despite the changing attitude to the Mount, the Jewish public still considers the Western Wall to be the faith's holiest site - 66 percent singled out the Kotel for this distinction, compared to 29 percent who chose the Temple Mount.

The Israel Minister of Housing and Construction Uri Ariel on Friday said that he would like to see the construction of a "third Temple" on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. According to the Alray Palestinian News Agency, Uri Ariel said "The first Temple was destroyed in 586 BCE, the second Temple in 70 CE, and ever since the Jews have been mourning its loss."

His statements are likely to be met with anger and outcry across the Muslim world.

He referred to the controversy with the Islamic mosque that is now situated on the site, saying that the "Al-Aqsa Mosque is currently in place of the temple, despite the temple being much holier than it. Al-Aqsa Mosque is only the third most holy mosque in Islam."

"Now that Israel has once again become a Jewish sovereign state, there have been occasional calls to rebuild the Temple," he added.

there will be no peace for Israelis there, the only way is to make it through war.
Look at results with Egypt, and Syria, they beat the pants off them, and got peace.
the world needs to shut up, and let them clean the nest of rats from the Palestinian areas, then they will have peace. .

There will never be any peace for the Jews. Wherever they go they will make the place successful by their very intelligent smart nature , muslims will come to live off of the benefits off of the successful place that the Jews built then try to destroy and kill the Jews so that they can take what isn't theirs. That is what happened in Palestine. There were no people there until some Jews came and made the place work and now look what is happening. It is all ex[plained in that recent article on the PPoor Little Palestinians thread.

First Steps To Rebuilding The Jewish Temple ?

Post: # 78411Unread post Gary Oak »

This is one step closer. Could the building begin in the next few years ? Maybe even 2014 ? This is exciting. Notice how the muslims are accusing Israel of expansionism while Israel only wants their small area of land and izlam openly claims to be trying to take over the entire world and intends to transform all the nations that allow muslims to immigrate to into shariah law paradises wether the natives of these lands wish it or not.

I notice how the Muslims, and liberals never say anything about Jordan, they treat the same "Palestinians" in there country as second class citizens.
I notice how none of the Muslim country's will not take Palestinians in even though their Great book tells them to do so.
Israel was suppose to be what it is, and Jordan in the original pact by the allies.

The rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem is a key prophetic event with tremendous significance. In addition to the actual building that is required, a tremendous amount of detail will need to be re-enacted, based on the specific requirements given by God in the Old Testament regarding both the numerous items, laws and rituals required to properly conduct the Temple worship, sacrifices and rites. One such key requirement is the slaughtering of a red heifer for its ashes, which would then be used in an ash water mix as a purification-for-worship prerequisite as recorded in the biblical book of Numbers Chapter 19.

A recent report by by Michael Snyder in End of the American Dream, explains why this is no mean feat:
