I think those are contacts, but I went to school with a dark red head with eyes that matched her hair.
She was really pretty, and kind of devious. Her name was Tony.

Those are definitely contacts. I had a similar color pair years ago along with a violet color pair and a pair that were tinted yellow and caused "eye shine" like an animal. They were for theatrical use.

My prescription has long since changed and don't wear them anymore.
