I remember a lot of the purifying rituals from over the years of reading, they where really complicated. Egypt had a lot of them also, as well as many surrounding areas.
To be a priest in Egypt you had to even cut imperfections out shave your hair, moles, or freckles off.

It is incredible what the Jews have done with this barren area. They have turned it into a paradise among a sea of basket case nations. Are the Jews the most productive people in the world ? The also have God on their side which is always a huge plus.

Tel Aviv Diary: Israel's Economy Is Growing Rapidly—But There's A Very Real Fear Of War | Opinion

People who have not visited Tel Aviv in a number of years would hardly recognize the place. The number of skyscrapers going up is astounding. Last week, a new 100-story tower was approved for construction. All of this tremendous expansion is being fueled by an economy that has been growing rapidly. Israel’s economy grew at an annualized rate of 4.5% in the first three months of 2018, the same rate as the last quarter of 2017. The OECD average in 2017 was 2.5%. Last year, the growth rate of the economy in the United States was 2.3%.
Last week, Prime Minister Netanyahu proudly announced Israel’s per capita GDP had risen to $42,115—ranking Israel 24th in the world, ahead of Japan and right behind the United Kingdom. In comparison, it should be noted that the U.S. per capita GDP stands at $62,15. In 1990, Israel’s GDP stood at $11,264, while the U.S. GDP stood at $23,954.
Rapid growth of the high-tech industry has been the engine driving Israel’s economy. 112 Israeli companies were purchased last year, for a total of $23 billion. At the same time $5.24 billion was invested into Israeli startups, up 9 percent from the year before. In addition to the success of the startup sector, there is growing presence of tech multinationals in Israel. IBM established its first R&D office in 1972, Intel in 1974. Today, those tech companies have been joined by Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon, who together with another 350 companies, all do R&D in Israel.
With both multinationals and startups competing for the same talent pool, Israel’s high-tech industry faces a severe labor shortage. According to Alon Ben-Tzur, CEO of Binat Communications: “The shortage of labor is the single biggest obstacle to the continued growth of the country’s economy.”

The solution to the labor shortage has so far remained largely elusive. Most of the top talent for the high-tech industry either come out of the technical unit of the Israeli Army or from the handful of Israeli universities with high-level computer science departments. There are many programs underway to solve this problem, including efforts to boost computer training in the Arab-Israeli and Ultra-Orthodox sectors.
Efforts in the Arab-Israeli sector have already yielded some encouraging results. One example is the Takwin Fund, created to invest in promising startups in the Arab-Israeli sector. To date, the fund has invested in eight startups. According to the fund’s CEO Itzik Frid, “We are mainly invested in Nano-technology and deep algorithm research.”

As a result of the labor shortage, more and more Israeli companies are looking overseas to Ukraine, Poland, and other places to find competent tech workers.
The other challenge caused by Israel’s tremendous economic growth has been the creation of two parallel economies. Salaries in the high-tech world are approximately twice that of average Israeli salaries. Israel once had one of the smallest income gaps in the world. Today, the income disparity in Israel is one of the highest worldwide.
Israel carries a sizable military burden, standing at $1,981 per person in the country. While Israel’s overall economy has grown so that the military budget has dropped from 8.9% of the GDP to 4.7% today, the burden per person has not changed.
Finally, it is impossible to accurately portray Israel’s economy without writing about the other great disparity—i.e. the West Bank and Palestinian territories, where the per capita income in 2016 was under $2,000.
Despite all of the aforementioned successes, standing in Tel Aviv watching the skyline transform almost daily, there is a certain air of uncertainty—a fear that it might not be real, that it could all disappear.
Could war break out with Gaza again? What about the very real fear of war with Iran that includes Hezbollah and their 100,000 missiles? Will Israel’s vaunted missile defense system be able to shoot down enough of those missiles? If not, what would happen to all of the foreign investments that fuel the Israeli economy?
Israeli high-tech innovation emanated from Israel’s defense industries. However, as long as the need to develop better technologies for defense remains front and center, and peace remains elusive, the Israeli economy will continue to confront an uncertain future.

They know it's coming, and on the world stage they will always be the bad guy, so why not do a preemptive strike, and get it over with.
You don't wait till the enemy is prepared, or stronger, and after a time the world will move on to the next people to hate on.
The Palies, and Iranians, they should have finished them off long ago, it would have saved a lot of lives over time.

There are only about 5 to 6 million Jews in Israel but yet they contribute such an incredible amount. We have sent rovers to Mars but not to the moon. Is there something that they aren't teling us ?

Israel wants to send landing craft to the Moon by year’s end

Israel aims to be the fourth country in the world to land an unmanned spacecraft on the Moon, the SpaceIL nonprofit organization announced. If the December launch goes well, the Israeli flag may grace the Moon by next February.

“We will put the Israeli flag on the Moon,” said Ido Anteby, CEO of SpaceIL, during Tuesday’s press conference in Tel Aviv, at the state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), where the spacecraft and ambitious timeline for the first non-governmental moon-landing was unveiled.

The “smart spacecraft,” developed by Israeli engineers, will be shipped to Cape Canaveral, Florida in November in preparation for the December launch. The 585kg (1,289lb) unmanned module, which has yet to be named, will be sent to the Earth’s orbit aboard a SpaceX Falcon rocket, before heading towards the Earth’s natural satellite. The moon-landing is expected to take place on February 13, 2019.

— SpaceIL (@TeamSpaceIL) July 10, 2018

“Our spacecraft will be the smallest ever to land on the Moon,” Anteby noted. “It’s a small, smart spacecraft, it has a two meters diameter, its height is about 1.5 meters (3.2 feet), it weighs 600 kilograms (1,300 lbs), and will land on the Moon at the weight of 180 kilograms (396 lbs).”

Once positioned, the “completely autonomous” module, which looks like a round table with four legs, will take photographs and collect data on the Moon’s magnetic fields before sending the information back to Israel’s Weizmann Institute.

If successful, SpaceIL's $95 million project, funded largely by billionaire Morris Kahn, will become the first private enterprise endeavor to match the Moon exploration achievements of Russia, the United States and China.

“This is national history,” said IAI director Yossi Weiss. “Going to the Moon was a hugely expensive government-run mission. And this is going to be the first privately run mission to the Moon.”

The project, which started in 2011 as part of Google Lunar X Prize (GLXP) to land a small probe on the moon, has yet to receive IAI funding, despite the promise to provide a 10 percent contribution.

“The government should recognize that space is very important for the future,” Kahn told reporters on Tuesday. “When the rocket is launched into space, we will all remember where we were when Israel landed on the moon.” Once the mission is accomplished, the developer said the spacecraft will remain on the moon as a “symbol of Israeli success.”

I read yesterday that makes the 5th country to do so, so maybe one off. Still amazing, especially with a small country like that.

It is truly amazoing that the Jewish approximately five million people population of Israel is so productive that they are in the space race and able to put a craft on the moon.

Israel is expanding its horizons with a mission to the Moon (VIDEOS)

Israel is preparing to journey to the Moon, and hopes to have joined the exclusive club of countries that have made contact with the lunar surface come April.

The Beresheet spacecraft is set to launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket next month. All going according to plan, the spacecraft is expected to land on the Moon two months later. If Israel’s lunar ambitions become a reality they will join the US, Russia and China in making a ‘soft landing’ on the moon. The plan is to study the unusual magnetic energy at the Sea of Serenity in the satellite’s northern hemisphere.

Beresheet, developed by Israeli space organization SpaceIL with Israel Aerospace Industries, landed in Florida last week and is currently stored in a custom-built, air conditioned shipping container.

After its launch, the spacecraft will orbit the Earth three times before entering the moon’s orbit, circling the pockmarked satellite twice before making a landing.

Finally the mystery of who the Philistines were has been solved with the help of DNA. This also exposes the Muslim Arabs in Israel’s lie that they are descendants of the Philistines as they obviously aren’t European. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science- ... 180972561/

I do believe that Israel is a first world country due to a number of reasons which include a good average work ethic, an above average IQ, caring about quality, a high average level of ambition, a high level of morality etc... when I was in Israel I didn’t see any Jews idling around wasting their time and life. https://m.jpost.com/Israel-News/6-Israe ... So in actuality it's just another spin on the hydrogen engine.
I wonder if he figured out how to prolong longevity because corrosion, and buildup of impurities cause those to fail, or loose power pretty fast.

A lot of people would have been saved, and people would have calmed down by now if they would just bomb the crap out of these idiots on the PLO, and Hamas.
Go in, and root them all out, and move the rest out of the country, let their great Muslim brothers take them in, and deal with them.

The Muslims want nothing less than the genocide I of the Jews and the power to subjugate and put all other infidels under sharia law where they can rape the girls and demand a jizya tax from the infidels. They would rather live in a third world shiitehole than enjoyregre the first world free and democratic society that the Jews have created for them. The Muslims are not the innocent victims that they try to portray themselves as but are psychotic evil freaks. Israel knows what they have to do and I believe that they know that they have to make the leaders regret their evil deeds.
