If I was in charge there, or anywhere Islam would be on the run, and i wouldn't care how it had to be done.
You peaceful, you want to fit in, and get along good, but the rest would leave, or be locked away.

This new president has the entire law abiding population feeling full of hope. He is dedicated to fixing and improving the Philippines. It's no wonder that Obama is alarmed about him. Obama only cares when in the end his caring will cause a lot of suffering and death. Check out the video at the bottom.

Go ahead, withdraw your assistance’: Philippines' Duterte dares US, EU

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte declares he will not bow to foreign pressure over his anti-drug campaign, while Foreign Secretary Perfecto Yasay declared that the US “has failed us.”
“I do not expect the human rights [groups], I do not expect Obama, I do not expect the EU to understand me,” said Duterte in a speech on Thursday. “Do not understand me. And if you think it’s high time for you guys to withdraw your assistance, go ahead. We will not beg for it.”

Duterte’s remark was made in response to mounting US and EU criticism of his war on drugs, which has led to over 3,600 deaths at the hands of police, drug gangs, and vigilantes, according to the latest figures from the Philippine National Police (PNP). Certain politicians, such as US Senator Patrick Leahy, suggested cutting off aid to the Philippines in September, but Duterte maintains that foreigners simply do not understand the scale of the drug problem in his country.

“You will never understand the pain that we are suffering,” he said. “Go away, bring your money somewhere else. We will survive as a nation. There will always be a day for reckoning.”

Rape, Viagra, Obama & Hitler: Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte’s craziest quotes These latest comments fit in with the rhetoric Duterte has become famous for since taking office. On Tuesday, he told Barack Obama, whom he has previously called a “son-of-a-b***h,” to “go to hell,” and the Philippines’ president called for a withdrawal of US troops in September.

Meanwhile, Duterte’s foreign secretary, Perfecto Yasay, who has at times tried to downplay his boss’s comments, released a statement on Facebook titled “America has failed us” in which he says that, while there are many “countless things that we will be forever grateful to America for,” the US has never fully respected Philippine independence.

“After proclaiming in July 4, 1946 that the Filipinos had been adequately trained for self-determination and governance, the United States held on to invisible chains that reined us in towards dependency and submission as little brown brothers not capable of true independence and freedom,” the FM said in the statement.

The United States “give us the assurance” that it will come to the Philippines’ defense if its sovereignty is threatened, and that is why Duterte has set about “realigning our independent foreign policy,” the statement added.

‘Last one’: Joint war games are over, Duterte tells US citing China concerns However, this does not necessarily mean that Duterte wants to sever ties with the US, as Yasay also said that the Philippines will not pursue a military alliance with any country other than the United States.

“The President in many occasions has said categorically that he will only have one military alliance, and our only ally in that respect is the US,” he said before a Senate committee on Thursday.

There seems to be some differences of opinion within the Duterte administration about how to interpret the president’s remarks. Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana earlier said that he thought Duterte had been “misinformed” about the nature of the US-Philippines alliance, while spokesman Ernesto Abella said that many of the president’s statements are “expressions of frustration” that should not be taken literally, the Philippine Star reported on Thursday.

American officials, for their part, have tried to shrug off Duterte’s outbursts. A State Department official told the LA Times, “we are not going to respond to every little thing said in Tagalog somewhere in the Philippines

Way to go Obama. you have just lost the west a valuable and strategic ally with your efforts to keep him from fixing his nation. Duarte has something in common with Xi Jinping of China and Putin , that being that he is very loyal to the country he is leading. I recommend opening the page at the bottom and watching the video.

‘Make a wish list’: Russian ambassador says Moscow ready to provide assistance to Philippines

After the president of the Philippines announced a separation from the US – a statement which his government has since walked back – Russia’s ambassador to the country said Moscow is ready to provide assistance to and fully cooperate with Manila.

‘Only China can help Philippines’: Duterte turns to Beijing as rift with US widens “Formulate your wish list. What kind of assistance do you expect from Russia and we will be ready to sit down with you and discuss what can and should be done,” Russian Ambassador Igor Khovaev told GMA News on Friday.

He went on to state that Russia is open to working with the Philippines in “any area, any field of possible cooperation.”

The ambassador assured the news outlet that Moscow would not “interfere with the domestic affairs of a sovereign state,” and that the “true Russia” is much different than the one portrayed in Hollywood films.

Khovaev added that the Philippines and Russia “deserve to know each other much, much better.”

He also said that Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte impressed Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during a meeting in Laos last month, and that Moscow supports the leader’s fight against illegal drugs and criminality.

For its part, the Philippines’ budget minister announced that his country is open to all forms of assistance, but will choose what is in the “best interest of the country,” Reuters reported.

‘Troubling rhetoric’
Meanwhile, relations between Duterte and the US aren’t quite as rosy. The Philippines leader announced it was “time to say goodbye” to Washington on Thursday, including to military and economic cooperation.

However, the Philippines’ trade minister, Ramon Lopez, told CNN on Friday that the leader “wasn’t talking about separation” from the United States.

Although Duterte explicitly stated that the Philippines would be separating from the US economically, Lopez said that “in terms of economic [ties], we are not stopping trade, investment with America. The president specifically mentioned his desire to strengthen further the ties with China and the ASEAN region, which we have been trading with for centuries.”

He explained that the Philippines was just “breaking being too much dependent on one side…but we definitely won’t stop the trade and investment activities with the West, specifically the US.”

The US embassy in the Philippines called Duterte’s remarks “troubling rhetoric” prior to Lopez’s conciliating remarks.

“We’ve seen a lot of this sort of troubling rhetoric recently, which is inexplicably at odds with the warm relationship that exists between the Filipino and American people and the record of important cooperation between our two governments,” the US embassy press attaché in Manila, Molly Koscina, told Reuters on Friday.

“We have yet to hear from the Philippine government what Duterte’s remarks on ‘separation’ might mean, but it is creating unnecessary uncertainty,” she added.

Koscina also said that the US would honor its alliance commitments and treaty obligations with Manila, and expects the Philippines to do the same.

Despite 65 years of close partnership, relations between the US and the Philippines have soured in recent months over Duterte’s controversial “war on drugs,” which has led to the death of at least 3,600 people since May.

Duterte criticized US President Barack Obama’s “arrogance” earlier this month, as he announced a trip to China – a historic rival of the Philippines – to discuss partnership projects. It was from China that he would later announce the separation from the US.

In September, after hearing news that the US president was to address the Philippines’ war on drugs, Duterte called Obama a “son of a b**ch/whore.” He later said the insult had not been directed towards Obama, but that didn’t stop the White House from canceling talks scheduled between the two leaders.

Despite criticism from the US, the European Union, and the UN, Duterte – who came to office in May on a promise to wipe out drugs and dealers – has vowed to continue his anti-drug campaign until the end of his term, shrugging off accusations that human rights are being violated in the process.

What world leader would dare speak out openly about the Vatican and the Catholic church ? I believe that Dutarte can successfully deal with the Philippine drug problem as Mahathir Mohamed did in MMalaysia and perhaps in his term make the Philippines as safe as Malaysia too. This Dutarte I believe is a great leader. These drug dealers that Obama cares so deeply about cause far more pain than Dutarte's killing them will cause.

'Vatican does nothing against drugs here, just collects money at mass’ – Duterte

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has criticized the Catholic Church for attacking his human rights record, saying it has done nothing for drug addicts in the Philippines except collect money. He then offered his own version of what religion should be.
The spat between the institution and Duterte continues, following a photo exhibition the Vatican staged to commemorate the victims of Philippines violence it says happens by the president’s hand. Duterte, in response, blasted the Church with insults at a Christmas party.

“You say Duterte killer. You priests, you blame me for the deaths of thousands of drug addicts, even those who died in hospitals, you still blame me. But you are the ones who killed Christ,” the president is cited as saying by the Philippine Star.

Duterte has been assailed from all sides for alleged human rights violations in his drug war, with photographs of street violence and testimonies of summary killings frequently making headlines. But the president believes the Church is doing an even poorer job, which includes ignoring the Philippines’ poverty and drug addicts, while continuing to collect cash at mass.

He also accused the Church of not doing “anything against illegal drugs. They never bothered to help.”

He then suggested an “Iglesia ni Duterte” (Church of Duterte), in which there would be “no prohibition, you can even have five wives. But make sure you are responsible for your problems.”

“The Church is not giving anything even if they collect so much. My statement is full of sarcasm because they [priests] have been criticizing me. They are hypocrites,” he added.

Duterte went on to say he believes in God and Allah, but he is against organized religion, especially the Vatican, because it sows the fear of hell in Christians.

“Do not believe it. That is what that religion is all about, they are instilling fear that you will go to hell if you are a sinner. But you will only know if there is indeed a hell if you die… Be careful about religion, it is about gold. It is about gold. They have not done anything. Where is their God and their grace? There is the hypocrisy of it all.”

He then went on to bash the United States for its recent criticism – one that cost it all friendly cooperation with the Philippines.

“America did not do anything for the 4 million Filipino addicts. And they even scold me,” he went on.

“Catholic[ism] is a sordid religion. It is about time to show you its history,” he said, mentioning Pope Leo as someone “sired and even had sex with his child.”

The Philippines president meanwhile continues his fight against illegal trafficking of drugs at home. Some $20 million worth of crystal meth was seized in Bukidnon on Tuesday in an intercepted car. The president continues to be criticized for his methods, but insists it is not up to foreigners to interfere in the Philippines’ domestic affairs.

Philippines crisis: Duterte declares martial law on Mindanao in face of ISIS-linked onslaught

Militants affiliated with Islamic State are vying for control of the city of Marawi in the Philippines. President Rodrigo Duterte put the island of Mindanao under martial law, ordered in special forces and cut short his state visit to Russia.

Islamist-extremist insurgents from the Maute group are engaging government forces in firefights and the area, which boasts a population of 200,000, is now on lockdown, according to Philippines authorities.

These two great leaders finally meet. Donald Trump has already undone the damage Obama did to Philippine American relations

From ‘sons of bitches’ to ‘best friends’: Duterte on US as Trump summit looms

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has described the US as his country’s best friend, a far cry from the long list of scathing remarks he previously made about America.
The turnaround comes ahead of Duterte’s first face-to-face encounter with US President Donald Trump at Wednesday’s welcome dinner for state leaders at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Da Nang, Vietnam.

Despite previous virulently anti-American remarks, Duterte told Philippines marines on Tuesday that the two countries are close: “We remain to be the best of friends with America.”

Duterte has never been shy to put the boot into his country’s oldest ally, often cursing during at-times personal attacks

‘Your ambassador is a gay son of a bitch’

In August 2016 Duterte called the former US Ambassador to the Philippines, Philip Goldberg “a gay son of a bitch,” accusing him of interfering in elections.

He made the comment while recounting a conversation he reportedly had with Secretary of State John Kerry, where he remarked on an ongoing feud with Goldberg.

‘Son of a whore, I will curse you’

The following month Duterte blasted the then-US president Barack Obama for criticizing his controversial crackdown on drug addicts: "You must be respectful. Do not just throw away questions and statements. Son of a whore, I will curse you in that forum."

"We will be wallowing in the mud like pigs if you do that to me," he added. Duterte later claimed he was referring to reporters who were not respectful during his speech.

‘I am no American puppet’

Duterte continued his tirade against the US and Obama when declaring in September 2016 that he was answerable only to his own compatriots, saying: “I am no American puppet. I am the president of a sovereign country and I am not answerable to anyone except the Filipino people."

‘He is a bigot and I am not’

Speaking about Donald Trump ahead of last year’s US election Duterte rejected equations between him and the Republican leader, simply proclaiming: “He is a bigot and I am not.”

We have lots of explosives here’

After the US threatened to block the sale of about 26,000 assault rifles to Philippines police in November 2016, Duterte suggested the US shouldn’t challenge him on the issue: “They’re blackmailing me that they won’t sell weapons. We have lots of explosives here.”

He also laid down his intentions to turn to Russia for arms if the US would not provide the guns.

‘Bye-bye America’

In December last year Duterte swiftly responded to what he believed was a US decision to scrap a major aid package over human rights concerns.

He labelled the Americans “sons of bitches” and vowed “tit-for-tat” retaliation, adding: "We can survive without American money.”

“It ain't a one-way traffic...Bye-bye America."

‘I’ve seen America and it’s lousy’

After US lawmakers opposed the prospect of a Duterte visit to the White House last June, the leader bit back. “There will never be a time that I will go to America during my term, or even thereafter,” he said. “I’ve seen America and it’s lousy.”

While relations may still be fragile, Duterte has tempered his comments during Trump’s term. Speaking about the US in September he said he’d “rather be friendly to them now,” admitting that he was advised by his Department of Foreign Affairs to tone down his language.

Duterte himself previously suggested his comments should be taken with a pinch of salt. “In every five statements I make, only two are true while three are just jokes,” he said at a Bureau of Customs celebration in Manila last year.

Trump and Duterte are expected to follow Wednesday’s meeting with a more comprehensive discussions when Trump visits Manila on November 31.

I do believe that Rodrigo Duterte knows a lot about who is at the top of t his drug epidemic that plagues almost all of the world. I believe that it is most likely that George Soros is the spokeman for the top bankers.

Duterte claims US billionaire George Soros is behind the hate campaign against his drug campaign

President Rodrigo Duterte has identified American philanthropist and financier George Soros as the man behind a well-funded and well-organized plot to paint him as a mass murderer in the eyes of the Western World with his lethal campaign against illegal drugs.

In a speech in Manila Hotel Friday night, Duterte sad that Soros’ Human Rights Watch, which received a $100 million grant from the American billionaire in 2010, bankrolled the local nongovernment organizations that have mounted a vilification campaign against him in the local and international media.

“Sa EJK (extrajudicial killings), mga Amerikano nakisali. Marami mga sosyal dit na NGO na funded ny Human Rights Watch ng New York. Kay Soros yan, yung financier, grant nya yan, meron na yan sila dito, meron na yan sila funding money,” said Duterte.

Duterte said that Soros and his paid institutions were looking for targets of their human rights propaganda to justify their funding.

Soros is a brilliant money manager who makes money out of currency woes of countries such as England in 1992 and the Asian financial crisis in 1997. He has since used his funds to be a power broker in the US and the global stage where he has taken on issues from the environment to human rights.

House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez said he agrees with the consultative committee’s (ConCom) plan to require senators and congressmen to have at least a college degree or its equivalent under the proposed new constitution they will submit to President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Kinakailangan din naman talaga na meron tayong educational requirement para maging legislator ka,” Alvarez said Tuesday (March 20) in a media briefing.

Alvarez said a higher educational attainment is needed for legislators to be able to craft bills and defend them before congressional committees and in plenary.

“Kagaya halimbawa ni Congressman [Antonio] Floirendo, walang eligibility, so hindi nagpa-participate dito sa mga committee hearings, hindi nagpa-participate sa mga debate sa plenary,” he said.

No information about Floirendo’s educational background exists online. Politiko has sought for comment and clarification on this matter from his chief of staff, but he has not yet replied.

A ConCom subcommittee voted on Monday (March 19) to include requiring lawmakers to have college degrees at the minimum in the proposed new constitution.

Solons are only required to be natural-born citizens and are able to read and write under the present Constitution.

In addition to these, senators should be at least 35 years old, a registered voter and a resident of the Philippines for at least two years. Congressmen are also required to be at least 25 years old, a registered voter in their district (except for partylist representatives) and a resident of the Philippines for at least one year.

After dissing bitter foe Floirendo, Alvarez was asked if he would say the same about Senator Manny Pacquiao, who does not have a college degree and never formally finished high school – save for passing an equivalency exam which made him eligible to enter college.

But the Speaker however, opted to keep his mouth shut.

“Ayoko nang magkumento diyan dahil baka hindi tayo matapos diyan. Meron kang tatanong sunod, may sunod, may sunod. So, no comment na lang,” Alvarez said. “Nagbigay na ako ng example tama na ‘yun.”

In Bhutan and India they have set up Chinese villages which not coincidentally are strategic for China’s military. I’m glad that the Philippine supply ships managed to get through. We watched this movie last night Our Last Men In The Philippines with English subtitles and enjoyed it. It shows the true tail of an army of fifty soldiers sent to retake a small town from some rebels. When they are sent the Philippines is Spanish but while they are held up in this church with the rebels laying siege the Americans win the Spanish American war and now the Philippines is an American colony without them knowing it. No doubt this movie won awards and PHD historians were adding details for realism. Here’s the movie trailer.
