If I had the room where my vault is, and I could get someone to deliver one i would get a huge vault.
I have actually considered making one room a vault with a vault door, but then I would need to do the walls in heavy steel, and fire insulation.
Mine is a 16 gun vault, but half is took up with other stuff like some coins, and important papers.

Mine have a lot of extra stuff in them too... the shelves are not over packed but they are pretty full. I also have a lot of handguns in mine. The door pockets in each safe are completely full...

My parents had a room built for my dad's guns and ammunition when they built their retirement home... the walls and ceiling are fire insulated and it has sold oak doors. It's in the basement and it has it's own security zone with a keypad. It's his man cave and he has 4 gun safes, an ammunition locker and his reloading bench in there. He also has a recliner, a big screen TV, a blue ray player and stereo in the room with surround sound... He hides in there from my mom... They have lived there permanently for over a year now and don't think he ever gave her the code to the security keypad...

I saw a Thompson for sell the other day online full auto, I think it was $32,000, not a WW2 one though.
I had one years back, but it wasn't full auto, I had to sell it so I could keep my car running.

Oh he might like me, I can do work on most guns, and clean them, quite handy.
Really I can't shot a lot of guns anymore unless smaller caliber, anything 308, or bigger is a real pain.
I can shot a shotgun, but after a while they even get me cringing, but I can always shoot from the hip.

In Canada, full auto Tommy guns are still legal to own, but only for Grandfathered owners who would now be old enough to start dying en masse from old age. For full autos our system only Grandfathers the owner, and not the gun, unlike in the US... It's a clever tactic actually! Your gun doesn't get destroyed until after you die, but it will get destroyed unless it can somehow be shipped into the US...

O'Toole reverses course on guns, will maintain Liberal ban during review of classifications

Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole is reversing course on a platform promise to overturn a ban on some 1,500 makes and models of what the government describes as "military-grade weapons."
The Liberal government first introduced the ban with an Order in Council in May 2020, which the Conservative platform promised to repeal.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, O'Toole said that the ban will now remain in place under a Conservative government while a public review of the firearm classification system is conducted.
