My great nephew, and niece never got a spanking, and I would likely go off on anyone who would.
They never deserved one, and you can talk to them, but my neohews got them, and one of them deserved a lot more than he got.

I needed the strap at school as I was a problem boy. The strap would have worked as I also was a cowardly little sociopathic bastard. I do believe that my deciding to stop lying when I was 15 abruptly changed my character to the far better and later realising that big egos make one repulsive undid this tendency. That was how it was in my ex husbands family. My ex is the second oldest of 5...he has 3 younger brothers and someone was always getting beat or punished for something someone else did...I guess considering it was doled out pretty evenly over time, it all equaled out in the end...

But all kidding aside, my ex had train wrecks for parents. Their parenting style was straight out of an instruction manual on how NOT to raise your children and it really screwed all of them up...They all seem normal when you first meet them but that's where it ends. My ex is probably the most normal in most ways. His issues are those of fidelity, which I believe also stems from his up bringing. His sisters in my opinion, are abusive bitches, especially toward their kids, and most of it is mental abuse. His brothers are sneaky and cowardly as fuck and will throw anyone under the bus to avoid the consequences of their actions...all of the brothers have addiction issues, one gambling; one alcohol, one sex. Unfortunately it makes all of them severely damaged individuals that you cannot trust ....

I just don't like being blamed for stuff I didn't do, if I did it Ill admit to it straight out to be over with it.
So I make mistakes, who didn't in life, let it go, punish me, or forget it.
I beat myself up enough over stuff I do wrong.

i had good parents, they could have did better at some things, but I can't complain much.
I did get in trouble a few times for stuff I didn't do though, it hurt my feelings more than anything.
The worst was when i wasn't even there to do anything wrong, and was punished for it.
Now that I toughened up I just say go ahead, and blame me, Ill really do whatever if pressured about it.

We all don't need, or deserve collage, but we do need a work ethic, and desire to make ourselves better.
We the Democrats we would have no incentive, or want to do better for ourselves, that's called socialism. You make more your are taxed more, you are put in a job, and make what the better job makes so why do better when you can do less.
