I read about gasoline and diesel going bad after a year or so..
Other source said 6 months.
Thats bullshit..
I started a tractor that had been just standing there for 20 years.
Just switched the battery, oil and I checked the engine rotation.
The fuel was what some1 put in 20 years ago.

Ezekiel got cancer...
In real-life, a growth like that is usually some kind of a non-malignant fat ball growing under your skin... 9,5 times out of 10..
And the doctor just simple cuts it out for aesthetic reasons.

I have used 5 year old gas, and started old cars with gas in them also.
The thing is water, and the gas does loose octane, or power over time.
It's best to use fresh gas of course, but if the gas looks good use it, water is the bad stuff in it, and rust.

The Walking Dead- TV Series
Yeah, one there, and grows that fast it could even be a big cyst, especially since they are not living in the cleanest of ways.

A man like Eugene can probably make gasoline from crude oil..
Oil in general does not expire..
If you are handy, you can make a small refinery..

I can make gas myself, it's not hard with some pipe to condense the oil into different parts.
Heat the oil, and let it simmer, the condensed liquid is close to what gas is, condense it again you have gas .
Skim the top off the heated oil you have Diesel, and Kerosene, or something like that. Just filter the stuff.

Well the Walking dead is back, and a new spin off from it also. It wasn't bad for what seemed a season finale, might have been the last one I don't know.
Also Pandora is back again for a second season.

Fuel can last for a long time, especially if treated with a stabilizer!Blue Frost wrote: ↑November 11th, 2019, 2:20 am I have used 5 year old gas, and started old cars with gas in them also.

For gasoline, moisture is often the enemy as Blue stated. It's best to keep the tank filled right up to help minimize that, but more importantly avoid fuel containing ethanol for long-term storage if you possibly can. Ethanol in fuel can create problems if stored for a long time. Where I live, the highest octane is ethanol-free, but lower grades are not.
Diesel used to last for literally many years, untreated. However, I say 'used to' because that's often no longer the case: Most Diesel today is now 'Low Sulphur' Diesel, and this does create an issue for long term storage. High Sulphur content in the Diesel of old inhibited organic growth, while Low Sulphur Diesel isn't as able to do that!

Re: Re: The Walking Dead- TV Series
I never empty my lawn stuff, or cars for the winter, I just start them every week, or two.
Seems just starting them heating it up a little burns off the water well for me.
As Mel mentioned Ethanol creates issues, and also it's a scam when they use it, and add detergents in the gas.
It fouls your engine, and contrary to what people tell you it isn't geed for the environment.
Here is why, you get less gas mileage on it so you need more of it so why not use the regular gas without it.
A tip for everyone also, if you see a fuel truck at a station, don't stop there, they stir up sediments in the tanks that will get in your cars fuel system.
