Those new stealth freight-trains... You dont see them coming.

In her defense, that wasnt her squad-car.

All of them there that saw it on the track should have said something, and as she put the woman in the car that was on the track shes just as responsible.
Say I shot someone in a bank heist, all my buddies would be in trouble for it as well.

She is at fault but it wasnt totally her fault.

The suspect was handcuffed inside the vehicle when the train hit.

There will never be a shortage of stupid, it happens.
I know other police officers don't want to step on toes by telling other police they should do something, but they really should in cases like that.
Also in my opinion who ever parked on the tracks like that should have had their IQ checked before hiring them.

The officer forgot to check his surroundings due to the heated situation.

Trains are really noisy and well lit up... And it was night.

How can you not see the train coming... :teehe:

I have tracks right behind my fence, and you can miss the sound when in some directions from the track.
Also the narrow beam can be missed by some also because we have had several people killed night, and day here, as well as a lot of animals.
The whole negligence of the police on that scene is knowingly parking on the track, and not telling the officer it needs off the track.

I grew up here so I pay attention when on the railroad, having a foot stuck is also a danger on the tracks, and tripping like some do.
I never came close to being hit, but people I know have in the past just from being stupid, and not paying attention.

Oh, a train coming to an intersection is suppose to blow the horn here, the cops totally ignored the horn at 5:07 of the video. Idiots.

At least one of the train crew was likely fired and perhaps even all of them. I suspect the same may have happened to the police on the scene. As for the person put in the cop car…… OWCH !

Why would the train crew be fired, they have right of way, and stopping a train takes a lot of distance.

They might have the right of way but there’s going to be an investigation, they are all going to be drug tested. Train companies as they are dealing with do much weight, power and money are very strict as it’s so dangerous.

There is always internal, and external investigations, but the train company, and employees are rarely held accountable.
They have total right of way unless notified ahead of time, and with good reason.
Usually for severe mishaps the feds are called in, but they wouldn't be involved in that case.
Here in the states the railroad is pretty much it's own government, they own the right of way totally.

Its that time of the year again..

At least a few people have to drown each fall because some people feel compelled to go on the ice before its properly frozen.

And at least a few have to drown during spring before peeps get that the ice has melted to a point where its no longer safe.

Once you fall through the ice in our river, you are most likely a goner... The current sucks you under the ice.

Some of these ice-fishers are nuts.

I fell through ice once in a pond, that really sucked.
My pants froze, and I did also.
My mom almost killed me for conning home like that, and her having to warm towels for my frost bite.
Worst thing was the itching from thawing out.

It can really hurt when your frozen limbs come back to life. :teehe:

Three kids just froze to death in the UK.

One kid had his foot stuck in the ice, other kids came to help and they all fell through the ice.

They didnt drown but the cold stopped their hearts.

Whats kids doing out now days, they are suppose to be inside on a cell phone, or computer looking up porn.
When I got frostbite, or the starting of it it hurt a lot, but when it started thawing it itched like hell, it's worse than poison Ivy, or oak.
Those warm towels sure felt good though, but my mom yelling at us, and jerking us around wasn't any fun :teehe: she didn't have any compassion for us stupid little frozen monkeys.

Yeah I bet a lot of people have bought this really expensive sounding and looking thing...

Snowmobile ski guide rails scratching the road is a real problem... Costing the taxpayer billions per year.

I think I rather invest 60 to 100 bucks to new guide rails every few years rather than pay thousands of euros for this monstrosity.

It looks like the police could tell who is doing it since the trail goes straight to the property it came from.
