That photo is a fake, and the date is AD, they couldn't even get the story right.

No worries Gary, most stuff that seems unreal, or surprising is made up.
The shame is when something real comes out people like me are very skeptical, or dismisses it.

The article comes from the "World News Daily Report" where the byline for that particular publication is:
"Where Facts Don't Matter"... ..

https://worldnewsdailyreport.com/irelan ... d-species/

A few other headlines from that rag are as follows:

"USA: "Confederate Army General Revealed to be a Woman"... :kez:

And my personal favorite:

"Irish Midget Accused of Posing as a Leprechaun to Extort Sex from 26 Women in Exchange for Pot of Gold" ..
Not very original but funny nonetheless.

Looking thru that so called publication I was disappointed when I didn't see "Bat Boy" pop up..

Don't sweat it Gary, we all have done it, and fell for stuff online.
It's nothing new, or anything to be embarrassed about, and learning some skepticism makes us a little smarter than those without it.

A sawfish isn’t a cryptographical monster however when it’s a thirty foot unbelievably big and long one it I believe qualifies. If they didn’t have photo evidence of this monster sawfish then who would believe that they caught a thirty foot sawfish. Most people might think it’s just another fisherman’s story. See for yourself. https://fancy4go.com/locals-and-scienti ... deo-maria/

Looks to me to be smaller than 30 feet, but it's still a big fish.
They can get that big on occasion, but my guess is they are really old.
I feel bad for it because the stress put on it from being caught.

It doesn't look real to me, I doubt it is.

Your probably right…..again. A creature built like that simply couldn’t survive all.

It doesn't even float naturally, watch the arms, they are pretty much rubber acting.
I hate these fakes, really they make things harder for things that are that can use the science, and any conservation needed.

This is so cool ! The ivory billed woodpecker is now not on the extinct list. Everything that needs to be done to keep this bird alive needs to be done. It must be a sight to see one of these big birds in the wild. https://ca.yahoo.com/news/iconic-bird-f ... 05962.html

Sure it probably tastes like chicken but wouldn’t it be better to just go down to a local KFC for a bite than slaughter one of these amazing birds that we are lucky to still have ?

But a frog is a frog, not a bird !
I wont eat frogs, or KFC by the way.

Oops, I didn’t get your meaning for some strange reason. I guess it would have to taste like one of the many things like taste like chicken like snakes or something. KFC is still okay for me. I draw the line at eating at McDonald’s.

What on earth is this creature ? Unfortunately the video doesn’t say where they are. You can see the end of its tail so it’s not a fish.

It's a small whale in my opinion, the tail is right for one, and what I can see of teh4 back.
It would be interesting to know.

I watched it again and I think I saw a dorsal fin so you’re probably right ……..again. I thought that the little of its head that can be seen was odd though.
