WOW, that would be a sight to see, a sun going nuclear, and the cloud being pushed back from the center.
Mass, and pressure, kind of like a stellar diamond being born.

Well we have our own supermassive hole we spin around, and smaller ones orbiting with us, so who knows how one going off will do us.
If close it could make it like a popcorn factory, and bounce stuff into our little space.
I would be more worried though about rogue objects flying in, a piece of an exploding nova, a rouge brown star, or another super heavy object we don't see.
Some rays also can be dangerous for us, some can wipe everything out.
