They fought many zombies throughout the movie, and then the final fight would be a boss fight. Based on the videogame series.

Not sure about the infected part. The whole zombie thing was an experiment, that probably gone right. She had superpowers. Umbrella failed to replicate her abilities. She was the original.

They still have the same T virus, and shes immune to their bites.
They should know shes not the food they want.

As for the Resident Evil: Afterlife, it is nothing but a well made B-movie.
Lots of action and plot holes, but it does have a 2 redeeming qualities:
1. A great cinematographer!
2. Milla (sorry, but I cannot be partial here -> the very essence of so called: Slavic beauty).
