I like three of the judges and the other lady judge is alright as well. Simon hasn't become a jerk yet, but it is still early. The age limits are better than American Idol. Idol is very limited. You can be almost any age on this show. 13 to 100 years old probably. Some of the younger contestants are extremely good, but the variety is nice. I've never heard death note. I'll read up on it.

It is a different format this year when they have four chairs for each of the four groups (girs, boys, over 25 years old and groups). Last night was the over 25s and part of the girls. It is continuing right now. They narrow each category from ten to four.
