Greenland Pre Ice Landscape Preserved Under Ice
Look at this. The ice didn't scour this landscape away but preserved it. I imagine there could very well be some pre ice age seeds that could be spouted. SPecies that nobody has ever seen too. This will be interesting to follow

I saw something about that this morning, it was talking about the ancient forest.
It would be interesting to see whats under the northern ice sheet even if it means it will be desert here.

I read about the wife of Franklin in Prisoners Of The North by Pierre Berton. I was trying to learn what was going on in the Northwest Territories in the 1800's. These early explorers were real survivors but this time they had bit off more than they could chew.

Denmark Also Claims The North Pole
I do believe that Denmark may actually have a valid claim here.
Denmark plans to claim partial control over the North Pole based on what it says is scientific data that shows Greenland

I read that today, I'm surprised it's all not been marked off yet.

Re: Arctic and Antarctic Mysteries
I have seen a show that had that bar on it, the people was all red faced, and happy in there. i don't blame them, gotta get pretty depressing there without some entertainment, and fun.
I actually wanted to go there for a time, but not anymore, I just don't do well in the cold now.
I would think you would need a lot of dried foods, and canned stuff just so not to do without vitamin's, and maybe a good multivitamin.
Also a good sun lamp would be a must, and I'm sure they have those.
The greenhouse is a nice touch.

Re: Arctic and Antarctic Mysteries
Pretty cool, but I don't understand why it's a new find, when I have read about it years ago .

CComet which hit Antarctica 13,000 years ago
I have read a number of Graham Hancocks books and I am looking forword to reading Magicians Of The Gods. I emailed him a photo once and told him some things that I have seen and experienced and he contacted me back and actually posted the photo on his website.

Re: Arctic and Antarctic Mysteries
I have read about the stuff, but not seem any good evidence.
It wouldn't surprise me if a neolithic society had advanced on the edge there, but nothing more advanced than what was in India, or Babylon regions at the time.
