US Senate Passes Keystone XL, 62-36, But Obongo Will Veto It
The US senate approved Keystone XL with some provisions by a vote of 62-36. Obongo, true to his billionaire backers like Steyer and Hollywood celebutards WILL veto it. Every excuse he has given has been debunked, but he didn't get the message in the last mid-term elections even though he himself said his "policies were on the ballot".

Hi Shen yeah he will veto it, his friends in the middle east, and down south in Brazil would loose a lot of money it passing.
if passed it would only be good for our own country, and Canada.

Good for Canada's economy, good for North American energy security, good for AGW(if you believe it is a catastrophe in the making) by supplanting Venezuelan heavy crude which comes to the US via tanker. Not a single logical reason to oppose it, but hey it is not in the interests of OPEC or domestic big money. Besides, we just completed two new pipelines to the Gulf coast carrying Alberta heavy not including new oil-by-rail terminals which will come on line within the next 12 months. There goes the argument by Sen C**** our oil will not reach tidewater.Blue Frost wrote:Hi Shen yeah he will veto it, his friends in the middle east, and down south in Brazil would loose a lot of money it passing.

I don't care if Jeb Bush or Romney wins the next election, either of them will be a vast improvement over the unqualified and deeply partisan Obongo.

Well people like Danny Glubber, and Sean Pinn the son of a communist think supporting oppressive dictatorships if fine.
Any why not, better to destroy nature without rules/regulations like down there, than with regulations like here. Fine deep hypocrisy, just like Hollywood, and guns.

it takes a two-thirds vote in each Chamber to bypass Obama's Veto, i wonder if they would try that.
Maybe make Obama prove he is an American would be better, all his crap would be tossed out, and him also.

The senate fell short of the 2/3 veto proof majority. I know the hyper-partisan twit will veto it. It makes zero sense to veto it for any reason other than political ones. He puts politics ahead of common sense unfortunately. Gawd, I can't wait until he's out of the white house.Blue Frost wrote:it takes a two-thirds vote in each Chamber to bypass Obama's Veto, i wonder if they would try that.

LOL I'm sick of all of them, not just Obama, none are working for our better good.
Obama is one of the worst, but he has a lot of company including Poloci, Boner, McCain, and many more.

That may be, but it is only Obongo that took a beating in the midterms. It is only Obongo that won't accept the results of the midterms when he said his policies were on the ballot. In the end, it is only Obongo than can and will veto Keystone XL.Blue Frost wrote:LOL I'm sick of all of them, not just Obama, none are working for our better good.

He's not running again, he could care less about the next person in. Only threat of impeachment, or something like that would stop him if someone was serious about it, and locking him away which they are not.
It all makes me sick, they allow him to be a dictator, the Republican pretenders are all for him in my view.

Let me put it this way, i knew what Obama was before he was elected, everyone should have.
What angers me even more is my own party the Republicans turning to Democrats, and kissing Obama socialist ass.
if a party has no integrity they should die/disband.

Obongo is recalcitrant. I can't fucking stand the way he panders to his celebutard and billionaire backers. Vetoing Keystone XL makes absolutely no sense, but he doesn't give a f*ck about that.Blue Frost wrote:Let me put it this way, i knew what Obama was before he was elected, everyone should have.

Yes, I agree the GOP does not have a backbone. Obongo is a shitty leader, but he has big balls, I'll give him that.

The vote was likely just a show by Boner, and the bunch, they knew it would come to nothing. they knew it before they voted on it.

Boehner is in the House. I have little doubt the senate wishes they could've got 4 more votes and make it veto-proof.Blue Frost wrote:The vote was likely just a show by Boner, and the bunch, they knew it would come to nothing. they knew it before they voted on it.

Just saying he tells the republicans what to push for as he mentioned in his last speech.
the only good from it is maybe a few more people will learn what Obama is, and for, the ones who isn't so blinded by his peace prize.

I see Keystone XL is on Obongo's desk now. He'll veto it, but that will not be the end of it.

He likely veto it soon as it hit his desk, and sent it back ASAP to show he has the power to keep his friends making money from overseas oil.

It's on his desk now. He 10 days to decide what he's going to do. We all know he will play politics by vetoing it instead of doing what's right.Blue Frost wrote:He likely veto it soon as it hit his desk, and sent it back ASAP to show he has the power to keep his friends making money from overseas oil.

Yes, he vetoed it today.
No good news for Canada's portion.

I don't concern myself, with other peoples thoughts. They can think what they want, and grind it around in their head. I always get a good nights rest. They however, are exhausted, thinking about me. My trade mark,

It's another delay but not as bad as it seems RG. Flanagan South carrying Canadian crude to the Gulf Coast has been brought on line and of course we have trains. Pipelines are by far the preferred method for transporting crude and I do believe KXL will eventually be approved.Registered Guest wrote:Yes, he vetoed it today.

What pisses me off though, is that Americans spent a lot of money and a lot of time studying this pipeline like no other pipeline has ever been studied. Obongo was never interested in the science of it, his mind was made up long before the State dept. report. He chose a political decision that is bad for the environment, but good for a few more years of Venezuelan crude which KXL would supplant. His exit from the WH cannot come soon enough for me.
