Vin Diesel is a shitty actor, himself.

IMHO, his greatest roll was that of "Groot" in Guardians of the Galaxy.

All he had to do was play a big walking CGI hunk of wood with a 3 word vocabulary.

I actually forgot that he was in "Saving Private Ryan". He gets killed pretty early in the film but he did sort of an okay job in his part. It wasn't his usual monotone snore inducing effort.
