I'm looking for a good security camera.
I need wireless, works over an IP, night vision, and with a good distance that is affordable.
Pan, and tilt would be nice.

Ill likely get four if I can find a few good ones .

My uncle's got security cameras at his restaurant. He's able to monitor the kitchen right on his iphone.

Yeah I want something like that, I need something around here to keep an eye on things.
I could even set up a bird house cam :)

Blue, would you actually use the security camera for security purposes or to keep an eye on wildlife and your cat trap? Are you concerned about theft or break-ins?

I'm more concerned in watching the neighbors brats, they was shooting a bb gun the other day, and I found marks on the fascia of the house. '
I also found a chip in the garage siding I'm not sure of.

I can't believe they'd let their kids shoot a bb gun in the yard! That's the type of thing you go into field to shoot ... preferably one outside the city limits.

Can I write computer questions in this thread?

Something went wonky on my computer today and now I can't watch YouTube videos or the videos on CTV's website. I ran a virus scan that came up clean, I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and I updated Adobe Flash Player. I also can't get into Tinychat.

Suggestions?

Well I see no reason they cant shoot it, but do it responsibly, they have a big back yard with a railroad behind it, and tall weeds.
I have already been over there several times about the kid, it's getting old fast.

Do you have a blocker, or no script blocking it ?
Try it in Explorer

My guess you have it blocked with something, an add blocker, or flash blocker.
The other day Ad aware had me blocked out of the chat

I'll try it in Explorer to see if it works. For Firefox, how do I look to see if something is blocking it?

Well you need to know what the addons are, and see if they are blocking it .
Maybe look in add-ons under tools to see what you have .

You have a setting or something in Firefox blocking it then.

See in content if Enable Java is checked, in Tools/Options/Content

In the plug-ins page it says "Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U29 6.0.290.11 (disabled)" and that's it is "known to cause security or stability issues".

OK, I went to the Java website and it says I have an outdated version of Java ... so I'm downloading the newest version right now.
