I think it is just a screen shot.
I don't concern myself, with other peoples thoughts. They can think what they want, and grind it around in their head. I always get a good nights rest. They however, are exhausted, thinking about me. My trade mark,

Yeah his screen, just wondering if he gets those on this site, or it's some addition to it.

No ads on here, but ads on mmb. Mmb must be making decent money with all the traffic.

It brings in some money for each click, but I rather not have them here. If I had to pay for an expensive server I would if we had the traffic.

OK, let me reveal my ignorance and ask really, really stupid questions.

Windows 8 is an operating system, right? My computer runs on Vista ... does that mean if I bought Windows 8 I could get rid of Vista?

OK, it says this:

Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Quad CPU Z6600 @ 2.40 GHz
Memory (RAM): 3.00 GB
System type: 32-bit Operating System

How can I find out how much free space I have?

OK, I think this is my graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 880GTS

Does it sound like I could run Windows 8? And would it be worth the trouble to switch? People keep telling me that Vista is a really slow system ...

I had little trouble with vista, but I stripped all the useless stuff out of it.
The sidebar, all the useless fonts, and other programs that lagged the system.
I had it running faster than most peoples WIn 7 computers.

I don't use my computer for fancy video games or anything that needs a lot of speed, so maybe I should just stick with Vista.

I would if it's doing alright, and you can always get your son to clear out useless stuff, and tweak the msconfig menu .
Or you can tweak it :) Ill talk you through it.

Don't have to buy the CD. You can download it from Microsoft. That's what I did.

I'm willing to give it a try ... I kind of like the idea of having the latest thing.

Hey, if I download it, can I also use it on my daughter's laptop or is it one download per machine?
