You'll need to run the windows upgrade assistant on her computer. You'll have to buy it twice if you want it on more than one computer.

Also, if you bought a Windows 7 laptop or desktop without the past 4 months, you can fill this form up and get windows 8 pro for only $14.99.

Crap ... we bought her laptop in June. :(

No big deal ... $39 is really cheap and it will be worth it.

My stupid Brother printer won't print in grayscale despite that I have a full black cartridge. Why? Cause one of the color cartridges ran out. Luckily I found a solution and amazingly, it worked. What a stupid printer.

It's not really a window. The guy described it as window. It's more like a hook. I put electrical tape over the hook(this is for Brother printers, might or might not work for other types of cartridges for other printers) and the printer now says cyan is full, even though there's no ink.

I have a canon that does that, the black will be full, but the color runs out, and it don't want to work.
i wet it one time to get it to work, but it didn't last but one page.

Hmm, might work for Canon cartridges too.

Trick that sensor! Almost every printer has a sensor on the side where the cartridge is inserted that tells the printer to stop printing after toner gets to a certain level. These levels are often way off, though, and copiers and printers can chug out more prints without any print quality issues. Simply cover up this sensor with a piece of masking or electrical tape and you'll be able to keep printing away.

I may try that next time I need one, I use black more than color anyway.

Just pick up a 500w power supply and the card you want and it'll work. Is this a new desktop?

I really want the Google Nexus 7 tablet. It'll be perfect for ebooks.

No it's not new, it's my main computer I use . I just want duel monitors so I'm not so limited in what I'm doing like clicking back, and fourth between screens, and watching stuff while posting.

Thats nice, but it never should have cost so much to begin with as many issues they have, and security risk.
I'm not sure if I would like the new style, Ill have to look at one first, the Beta test one wasn't like that at all.

I'm still using XP ... I'm happy with it but wouldn't be totally against trying something different.

What's the point of having dual monitors?

You can compare two different shoes, side-by-side.
