I'm a non believer i guess, and if I was i don't know what I would believe in.
The Bible has a lot of good stuff in it, but so does other ideas, or faiths.
i wanted to be a preacher growing up so I'm a little on the Bibles side.

I figure if someone believes they have issues, or doubts in God or they would be going. Sorry to be frank about it, but get back to church if you do believe, or you will go to hell.
I know sounds hard core, but that is what the bible is in my view, no candy coatings.

... no, it's not that hard core an opinion, Blue Frost. believing in something you can neither see nor prove exists could be seen as crazy as hell. thanks for your candor ...

People believe in a lot they cannot see, even science but they rarely admit to it. Faith is just part of being human, we have faith in a lot, love, feelings, hopes, family, ect.

I like a lot of Buddhist teachings, I think it compliments Christianity a lot of ways .

Hey speaking of God, and Bible, don't you think being right with God would be following what he says ?

... honestly, i don't really believe in the concept of hell. while i described myself as a united church protestant, i'm really a united church protestant agnostic!

Hi, and thanks to you for answering, I was just wondering what they thought now days as some change over time.
My family that came over was Huguenot protestants from an Island off France, some became Baptist, and others now Christians of the Church of Christ, not the Liberal Church of Christ.
they believe you follow the book, and try your best or your not saved. That's how i read it also, make an effort, your best effort.
