They where dummies, and failed over, and overRDL wrote:Nah, not at all.
But one of the things that really bugs me about that movie is that the mom got pregnant in 1989, but in 2009 she only had two children, both of whom were still school aged.
They never explained what happened to the baby she was carrying, she might have had a miscarriage or stillbirth or infant death.
Or maybe she just got held back a few grades in school

I once failed Grade 9 English and had to take part of it again by correspondence.
