I don't know much about whats going on, but it seems half the country wants to be Russian, and the other half not.
For me i would think the one half that does needs to be able to make their own decision, and anyone in that area be paid for property to move away .
Why is Obama against that freedom, he already looks like a crying baby over this.

The Crimea has been a hot spot likely as long as people have been in the area, it's like the Bosporus it's really a strategic area.
What I read today was there was many Russian flags flying there today in support of Joining the Russian federation.

This looks pretty clear cut to me, they want to be Russian.
If the people voted for these people, and on mass want to be Russian let them.
Who really has an issue with this, IMF, Obama, The neighbors.

How can any referendum be considered a fair process when you have armed Russian soldiers in the area? If Putin truly believes that the residents should be able to determine their own future, then he should have minded his own business. But of course, there is an ulterior motive for this action.

I wonder if there will ever be a time when nations are not in a military conflict with each other. Honestly, sometimes I think the human race is just a pestilence on this planet.

The planet could care less, it will just go on after we and our junk is not even a memory.
It's pathetic though that nations wont keep bargains, and keep the peace.
Obama, UK, Germany, France Canada even, just letting countries fall like before WW2 because they are sorry leaders in charge.

Putin knows that no one wants to go to war with Russia. That's why he brazenly ups his nose at international outrage.

I agree, and what we have leading is so weak nobody cares.
If I was the Ukraine government, i would be making a deal to transfer the Russians out, and the Ukrainians in from the part Russia took.

Gravitas always explains topics well. Now after a few minutes video I understand what the problem is with Russia and the Ukraine.

First thing in talks I would bring up how talks, and treaties has always been broke by the Russians.
A good part of the Ukraine is Russian people, just like the Ottomans did Israel with annoying people in their ranks, and for land grabs.
It's hard to have peace that way with the inheritance at each others throats, but it's a good way to keep them off the governments.

I really wish for all this shit to just stop.
