One of my aunts house flooded, and another relative is homeless now since their home washed away. :( sad news for me today.
Also I have a sick relative that has covid now, I can't help her, but offered to go take her stuff, and fix food for her.

Sorry to hear that, Blue. :(

I read about it in the news and I was wondering if you are okay.

Is your house near the flooded areas?

I'm about a mile, maybe two from the Ohio River, but we have flood walls, and so far good luck over the years.
We have had little flash floods almost high enough to get in my neighbors house, but they are a foot lower than us.

My two aunts up there are without power, and phone service, and can barely get out of their area, their creek follows the road.

A lot of families are, reminds me of that flood in Alberta a few years back.
What can you do though, floods, tornadoes, quakes, nature in general can be cruel.

The once gorgeous Nichelle Nichols commonly remembered as Lt Uhura on Star Trek has just passed away at age 89. She certainly had a charming manner. https://thepostmillennial.com/iconic-st ... ied-at-89/

Oh no, I didn't know Ronnie Spector had passed. She wasn't that old I didn't think... :( I liked them and her. No one else was like them and they had class and modesty, not like this lot now that pass as singers.

Oh noo, not Lt Uhura as well... :(

I saw about Olivia Newton John other day, I always liked her in Xanadu as well. I think she fractured her coccyx on those skates though, I remember reading a long time ago. :(

RIP all three well loved and remembered ladies. :(

You should come here, you'll slim down in no time... hardly any grub in da house, that's why!

Hang on, home cooking you say... at yours?! I'll be over in a lil bit hehe. :)

Yeah Ill have the bread maker soon, I already have a lot of butter ready for it.
I'm thinking of making some buttercream icing later, the mixer needs a workout. :)

I love good fresh break, and butter, I gotta learn to make some good stuff like cinnamon raisin bread, and others.
Come on over, give me an excuse I can make more, we can both be fat, and happy

Frosty, I have nice, simple cheese bread recipe here. Just mix up the ingredients and put in a rectangle tin and bake. I might make one soon, they're quite tasty and nice snack. If you'd like the recipe, I can type up here.
