I worked with several submariners over the years, all crazy, and spastic people.
To much time under the sea, and breathing recirculated bad air is my guess.

Those russian Mir submarines they used to find Titanic and Bismarck..

They are not really russian.. They are finnish.

In 1986, the soviets asked Sweden, Canada and France to build them a deep sea submersible... But the USA didnt allow it because it was the cold war.

USA allowed Finland to build the submarine for the soviets because the americans didnt think the finnish can build a deep sea submersible.


Finns designed and built the Mir-1 and Mir-2 submarines...


It caused an international incident because Mir submarines are a lot better than anything USA had at the time..

And Reagan was pissed that we sold such advanced technology to the Soviet union.

I can see the reasoning not wanting them having that, but oh well it happens.

We had several deep sea submersible, but most are tethered, and lowered, especially at that time.
Not real submarines.

I believe he was likely not liked by his fellow parties members because he over did it, most the time in office he was pickled.
I'm not sure if it's a shame they got away from people like him though, or a good thing, Putin at least gave them back some national pride even if robbing them.

I think driving trucks can be a hard life, but a good one if you enjoy traveling, and dealing with bad, or rude drivers.

I do appreciate truck drivers.

But they are the unsung heroes who keep our civilization operational.

Like fire-fighters, soldiers and cops.

Drunks are usually mouthy in situations like that, they say a lot of stupid stuff.
I'm surprised you didn't get to witness a good drunk fight that's about always funny.

I really hate being around drunks, I get really annoyed by most of them.
I have beaten up a few, and make it a point of leaving a mark so they remember it.
Once I broke ones jaw one night, he attacked me for no reason, and stomped one real good for getting in my face spitting the whole time.
A "friend" of mine got brave one time, and decided to push me, he ended up puking uncontrollably around his house after I kicked the crap out of him.

Most drunks that are mean, or nasty deserve a good stumping, that way they know they did something bad after they sobered up.
Drunk friends can be the worst, they know you better, and can push buttons.
