'Failed Church Bomber' Caught By Congregation

A man who stabbed a priest and attempted to cause an explosion in an Indonesian church is in custody after being chased down by the congregation.


Images have emerged of the suspected terror attacker lying bloodied on the ground after churchgoers held him for police.

He had reportedly sat with other worshippers in the church, before setting off a small explosion and rushing forward to attack the priest.

The pastor of the Catholic church in Medan was stabbed in the arm but suffered only minor injuries.

The suspect was found with a symbol indicating support for Islamic State, the Jakarta Post reports.

Local chief detective Nur Fallah said: "Somebody tried to kill the priest by pretending to attend the church service and at that time tried to explode something, like a firecracker, but the firecracker didn't explode, it only fumed."

Witness Bener Ginting said the suspect was wearing a backpack which was on fire as he ran through the church.

Mr Ginting said: "The priest was reading the bible and giving the sermon, when suddenly we heard an explosion and there was a guy with his back on fire running towards the front to attack the priest."

Another eyewitness, Markus Harianto Manullan, said he saw the suspect "fiddling with something in his jacket" before the blast.

Mr Manullan added: "I heard a small explosion and he immediately ran to the podium."

A bomb squad was sent to the church to determine whether the attacker's backpack contained explosives.

The attacker's house will be searched for bomb-making materials, police said.

Sometimes common sense has to prevail. These muslim kids hate the Danish and belive it is their right to do any evil they want to them and they want to do evil to them. Obviously this is the case or they would be separating them. We have had a lot of cases in schools in Canada of much older Syrian refugee classmates bullying the Canadian boys and sexually harassing the Canadian girls. I have to commend to Danish authorities in the school boards for defying political correctness and doing what's best for their students.

This really says something about a people. Britain is going to spend whatever they need to to save the British people from having to endure living among these savages. In Canada we are letting in droves of filipinos and now some Indonesians too. There is no talk of barring them [ except for from some Chinese Candiscams who don't want Candians here either ] Candians welcome them and after we meet them usually want more of them to come.

The UK government confirms a plan to build a 13 feet (3.9 meters) wall in Calais, saying the work will begin soon.

Immigration Minister Robert Goodwill told British lawmakers on Tuesday that the wall was part of a £17-million package of joint Anglo-French security measures to minimize refugee flow.

The government refused to confirm the cost of the wall, but reports suggest a £1.9-million price tag.

"We are going to start building this big new wall very soon. We've done the fence, now we are doing a wall," Goodwill told a parliamentary committee.

Despite being called a “joint Anglo-French” project, the wall will be funded by the British government as part of an agreement struck at a summit in March.

There is already a security fence put up around the port and an entrance to the Channel Tunnel.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd told MPs that while the UK provided money to help secure Calais, it was up to Paris to decide which measures to use.

Green Party MP Caroline Lucas called the wall "monstrous" while campaign group Citizens UK said the money could be better used to transfer child refugees with families in Britain from Calais.

Wall construction is expected to start this month and due to be finished by the end of the year.

Many of the refugees living at the Jungle and other camps in northern France attempt to reach the UK by getting on trucks as they approach ports or the Channel Tunnel.

The wall will be the latest barrier to go up in Europe as the continent struggles with its biggest refugee crisis since World War II.

Australia’s newest senator, Pauline Hanson, of the One Nation party, isn’t mincing words, and on Wednesday, took to the Parliament floor to deliver her inaugural day remarks and tell Muslims, bluntly: Assimilate, or go home.

“Hanson has heralded her political comeback by warning Australia is at risk of being ‘swamped by Muslims’ and telling those who are unwilling to adapt to the Australian way of life to ‘go back to where you came from.’

“Referencing her maiden speech to Parliament in 1996, in which she made the same claim about Asians, the One Nation leader repeated her call for a ban on Muslim immigration and warned Australians would eventually be forced to live under Sharia law, if something did not change.

“‘We are in danger of being swamped by Muslims who bear a culture and ideology that is incompatible with our own,’ she said.”

Hanson went on to decry “indiscriminate immigration and aggressive multiculturalism,” and said it was just those types of liberal yearnings that had brought about an atmosphere where law-abiding Australians were now afraid to walk freely in their own neighborhoods.

“Islam cannot have a significant presence in Australia, she said, “if we are to live in an open, secular and cohesive society. We have seen the destruction it is causing around the world.”

Her speech was fiery enough to cause several of her colleagues aligned with the Green party to walk from the chambers.

And predictably enough, these same started attacking Hanson as racist.

One said in a tweet, ABC.net.au reported: “Racism has no place in Parliament but that is what we have just heard from Senator Hanson. I stand with those people hurt by her words.”

Hanson stands nearly alone in the Senate, one of only three One Nation party members. But you wouldn’t know it, by her boldness.

About 100 far-right men and women attacked some 20 asylum seekers in the town of Bautzen after the migrants taunted them. Video footage shows chaotic scenes as fighting breaks out in the German town.

It comes as German chancellor Angela Merkel continues to fight for her political life over her open-door policy on immigration with the threat of fresh gains by the right-wing populist AfD party.

It's not bigotry being the reason why countries would rather leave the EU in order to keep muslims out of their country. It is the muslims behaviour that has made this imperative and them unwelcome. I have a coworker who was kicked out of a hotel for putting a big dildo on his door with a sign saying never been used and clean. It wasn't bigotry that got him expelled from that hotel but his behaviour. Just because someone isn't white and Christian doesn mean that they don't have to take responsibility for their behaviour as the condescending politically correct liberals believe.

Hungary will vote next month on whether refugees should be resettled to the country under the European Commission’s quotas. The government has been fiercely opposed to the plan since its inception
