Orik (who has since passed away) was a very large man (450 lbs). He didn't drive a car, but sometimes pedaled his bike around Vancouver. He had to hit his brakes hard for a car that pulled in front of him, and couldn't hold his tremendous weight on the seat. His massive body slid off the seat and crashed onto the bicycle frame, crushing his penis in the process.

I have like 28, and a half hours left, and Ill be at the hospital.
I gotta get things together in a rush today.
I'm not looking forward to it, I need some more time really since the wasted a month of it arguing about a stinking covid test stressing me out.

The Anesthesiologist said I wouldn't remember a thing also, I really wouldn't want to do so anyway you know.
When I was up there I could here them working on someone else, bone saw, and stuff, likely grinding through someones chest plate.
If I survive I dread the recovery, not sure how I can deal after being cut open like that.

I was also told by phone yesterday The mechanical valves was a no go, I can't take the blood thinners you would need with them.

What about blood thinner meds? Usually people who get mechanical heart valves are put on thinners for the rest of their lives.

I have a lot of drug issues where they cause bad problems, or allergies, side effects.
The doctor is worried I would not be able to take them, and that wouldn't be good.
I rather have the mechanical ones myself, but he wont do them.

Now for the stupid part, the tissue valves will need replaced if a few years.
How can that be any different than have a mechanical valve that might need removed
They cut you open again either way.

It hasn't even been a full week yet. Blue is probably still in ICU and they don't allow any kind of electronics in there, so he is completely out of touch.

If a month goes by and we don't hear anything then you can worry.

Pretty worried.

As we all are. But it's still early. All we can do is wish him well and hope for a speedy recovery. Unfortunately I don't think a speedy recovery will be in the cards for him. Blue's recovery and healing process will be long and arduous. I don't think he is going to feel well enough to post for awhile. This is not like a simple cardiac catherization where you are back to normal in a week. You don't just jump out of bed and resume your life after open heart surgery.
