Don't Buy This Serial Killers Book

Post: # 127952Unread post Gary Oak »

This bastard destroys so many lives. Not just the girls he killed but the families. There was a team of killers and he just took the rap. I for one will not give him my money by buying his book. His accomplices are sure to be supplying him with cash for taking the rap.

Serial killer Robert Pickton has penned a book that is selling online.

The 144-page paperback book, called “Pickton: In His Own Words” is for sale on Amazon.com for $14.95.

It was published by Outskirts Press on January 29, 2016.

The sales pitch for the book on Amazon reads: “Robert William “Willie” Pickton, AKA “the pig farm killer” from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada is a former multi-millionaire pig farmer and serial killer convicted in 2007, charged with the murders of 6 women and sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 25 years.

“He confessed to killing a total of 49 women to an undercover police officer posing as a cellmate. Pickton also told the undercover police officer that he wanted to kill one more woman to make it an even fifty and he got caught because he got sloppy. This is Pickton’s story ‘in his own words.’”

“A detailed story accusing the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Commissioner of total corruption and abuse of power. Starting with the spring of 1997.”

According to a CTV News report, Pickton wrote the book in his maximum security cell at Agassiz’s Kent Institution but because his correspondence is monitored closely, he passed the manuscript onto another inmate.

That inmate then sent the book to a friend in California named Michael Chilldress, who published it with his name on the cover.

The CTV report says the book references biblical passages, is full of spelling mistakes and has transcripts of his interviews with police.

Pickton says he is innocent of the murders, and says the RCMP made him the fall guy for the deaths, according to CTV.

The news report also says Pickton claims that the body parts of women found on his Port Coquitlam pig farm were in cars he had bought at a police auction.

“Pickton claims that blood from one victim police found on a mattress was just spilt wallpaper glue. He insinuates, without evidence, that motorcycle gang The Hells Angels was behind some of the killings,” says the CTV report.

Pickton was charged in 2007 with killing 26 women from a list of 69 who went missing, though he allegedly bragged about killing 49.

He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years for the murders of six women between 1997 and 2001.

There should be a law where the money goes to the victims families, and to cover his upkeep.
It's not at all right society pay for his crimes anymore than they have. it makes me sick Tax money goes for their upkeep.
