If you look at side-by-side pictures, it appears that Obama had higher numbers.

Sean Spicer, Press Secretary makes a statement that it was the largest crowd in inauguration history.



Clearly, that's false. Yet, Kellyann Conway calls it "Alternative facts".

I guess if I said the sun revolves around the Earth, I can say it's alternative facts.

Okay now the size of the crowd has become a bone of contention. Can anti-Trump stupidity get anymore trival?

I suppose this is the ONLY time a Whitehouse Press Secretary has ever stretched the truth?

In his speeches, he's always depicting the U.S. as this smoldering, destroyed wasteland and only he can make America great again. Exactly when did he consider America to be great? If that's not known, then how is one satisfied that the job has been accomplished? Perhaps the Reagan years?

When the primaries roll around, then it will show if the stupid electorate still buy in to his vision or not.

It was great, but with started declining after Kennedy, Johnson started by wanting the Vietnam war to go on for profits, Nixon opening up China for trade, and tossing the gold standard out, Carter, FOrd very pathetic, Reagan started a good plan, Clinton rode on it, but then tossed out the Glass Steagal act helping with the collapse, we recover some Clinton gets credit, then Dems took congress, and of course Bush gave into them for his war. Obama don't get me started.

So, from the worst recession since the depression to now, are you telling me that there has been zero improvement?

My understanding is that the unemployment rate was 10% and it's now around 5%. That's an improvement to me. If you think the world hated the U.S. during the Obama years, then hold on to your butts. In regards to race relations, my opinion is (no evidence), I think the racists came out of the closet since they never accepted a black guy as their president. If the drug, crime and murder increase can be substantiated by stats, then ok.

It may be some down now, but not 5%, and the jobs are part time, people not looking now, and collage people flipping burgers.

You gave Clinton a bit of credit, but for the most part, you think Dems are useless and pathetic ... and why wouldn't you since it's a totally different ideology that you support.

The issues are mostly civil that is pushed, the other stuff is good, or bad by both sides. Nafta by Bush SR was a bad Idea, Clinton signed it.
Bush JR was a fiscal socialist, and gave us the Patriot act, Obama supersized the order.

In regards to the protests and negative things being said from the left, if things turned out differently and Hilary was the victor (with interference from a foreign power), the right would be going bat-sh*t crazy also so I think it's important not to be hypocritical.

It's politicians that are the joke as are their paid puppets in the media.

As you said this is a non issue. But it was blown up by the media and a resentful new administration, who's legitimacy has been under fire from the cry baby left since day one. Trump has received almost no respect from the Washington establishment since before the general election. Most abhorrent of all, not withstanding the snow flake idiots in this country, the political process that has kept this country stable since the civil war has received no respect from the left as well. Some of the disrespectful shit I've seen being pulled by unhinged lefties would have been considered treason in this country's earlier history.

But getting back to inaugural viewership, Trumps inaugural was "viewed" by roughly the same amount of people, (31 MIL approx) as Clinton's and Bush's inaugural. Obama 2009 had about 7 MIL more but his 2013 inaugral was more in line with his recent predecessors.

But again it's neither here nor there as it means nothing. Trump and his people would do well to realize that.

BTW, the highest TV viewed inauguration was Ronald Reagan's first inaugural ceremony with 41 million people tuning in. The media doesn't mention that because it shuts down their Obama/golden child narrative and the average Obozo leftard on the street is either too dumb or too young (same thing) to understand and accept historical facts.
