Victoria Cyber Cafe (Fort and Richmond) closing?

I noticed they are down from 32 computers to 16 computers, and only about 12 of them are functioning.
This place is not nearly as alive as it was when it opened 3 or 4 years ago.

At least I still have Lotteria Karaoke on Yates Street.

Not that I'll miss Victoria Cyber Cafe...
I'm only at VCC because it opens at 1pm and Lotteria doesn't open until well after 2pm...
And I needed to vent about the ministry...

There are a number of things wrong with VCC...
Staff are predominantly Chinese, and therefore don't speak English well...
They don't even have change for a $5 bill, even though their internet is $3.50/hr... which I'm pretty sure is a HUGE violation of the Better Business Bureau...
Oh, and every so often, some English to Chinese translator thingy pops up, and I have to get the staff to disable it...

And in trying to disable the translator myself, I lost most of what I had written regarding the ministry...

And, even though the internet at VCC is $3.50/hr, I had to give the Chinese lady a $5 bill and tell her to keep the change...
I needed internet that badly...

I suddenly feel relieved... I found out the contact information for someone I wanted to lash out at... and I did... and I feel better...

Boy, every time I feel angry, I can just let it all out now...

Anyway... just finished looking at family travel photos...

However, there are advantages to VCC over Lotteria...
VCC doesn't let me buy only half an hour, they make me get an hour...
And sometimes I need a whole hour, whether I realize it or not...

And it's funner to listen to music at VCC than Lotteria...
Lotteria always has the radio station playing, and karaoke rooms not too far away...
Besides, the other customers at VCC are cool...

Lotteria doesn't. Lotteria makes me go to the YouTube website to play them.
I'm gonna miss VCC.
