Those will do nothing to prevent a kick-in... Either the door or the frame will still easily break with a good kick. You really want to reinforce the door and frame with something like the StrikeMaster II: https://www.homedepot.com/p/StrikeMaste ... ype=drawer

Good start, that will at least slow someone down so you can prepare.
They do make a metal piece that goes straight down the door frame which works better.
Also a class A style lock would go well with the system, those are commercial locks which are stronger than residential ones.
It adds up to a lot of money securing the doors, but windows are what thieves go for.

The door should be reinforced as well. I can show you a picture of my back door, which must've been booted in at one time (and then repaired by previous homeowner). Eventually I'll replace my doors and frames, and something like the StrikeMaster II I linked above addresses both door and frame issues.

I like a steel door, or solid hardwood, I steel frame would be nice also if you can get one.
I have a steel back door, it's insulated, and 6 inch hardened screws hitting two studs.

Here's my door that was booted at one time, and subsequently repaired by previous homeowner. If you reinforce only the frame, your door will just split when booted...

The StrikeMaster II kit addresses the door weakness also. For under $100 bucks, I'd say it's a worthwhile investment!

StrikeMaster II is like this... One channel is for the door, and the other channel is for the frame! Relatively cheap to buy, and appears simple enough to install!

Yeah that's the type I was talking about, it's really the best option cost wise for a start on securing your home.
It's not perfect, but most likely someone will hears them trying to break in.
