It's my personal view that many of these sea serpent sightings and possibly the asian dragon as well were and are oarfish. These creatures really look unusual

Yeah the oar fish is mistaken for a lot of sea monsters, also dead out of shape animals like giant squid.
Sometimes also sharks will go where they are not common like inland lakes, and inlets.
Manatees for mermaids, and so on.
Also I'm sure their is many things in the worlds seas we have never seen before, it's so vast.
Something else not mentioned much is abnormalities like with giantism in humans, sometimes animals get to be larger than normal.

I saw a show on SYFY that did a show on that one, they didn't find any evidence of a monster, but left it open to speculation.
Could be something in a lake that big, but I don't think that's anything in the video but garbage, or something.
Would be cool to find a new species, or an old forgotten one.

The giant squid is also known to have been mistaken for one, they are mostly seen at night being they are deep sea dwellers.

Sad such an amazing looking creature isn't more known about, and so many others.
I think some of the attention spent on Mars should be focused more on our own home to see if we can help ourselves right here.

In almost every culture and religion there are tales of serpent like creatures.

The seas are scary places if on a little boat, and the creatures in it isn't so friendly sometimes, especially since we don't see them until many attack.
The sea is not our environment, and alien.

How do you not know it was living in there for two years ?
It had to eat the fish.

It lived under the sand during the day and only came out at night. The aquarium owner was wondering where the fish were going so these gigantic worms must have been very careful.

You have to clean the tanks occasionally, I bet that place stinks .

good point, and it's a salt water aquarium too. They need a lot more work than fresh water aquariums. I was into aquariums when I was a boy.

I would have me one if not for the work, and cost for what I would like.
My sister had them when I was growing up, and they smelled a lot because she would put off cleaning them.
A good system will clean itself to a point if managed right, but you still need to clean it occasionally.
