The first one I had was when I was 16 and on a family vacation to Ireland.... It was "meh" at best, and it wasn't from a vending machine.
I've also had them at the Rose & Crown pub in Disney World. But those are pretty good. Even the server who was from the UK said Disney has the best scotch eggs. He said they were like a gourmet version compared to what he was used to back home. He said the ones in England could be pretty disgusting.
I suppose it could be worse. You could be eating "Spotted Dick" or "Faggots"....

I looked up on YouTube at some vereations of Scotch eggs, some where nastyb looking, some not so much.
The one with Italian sausage wasn't bad looking, but a little thick on the sausage.
My guess is some people just overdoes the meat, and coatings.
A lot looked like heart attacks waiting to be ate.

Renee you mention that, and it's a lot worse now than ever.
Most of us hold ourselves back, and we are the blame for it, but now days they make excuses that others are to blame, people that have been dead for centuries even.
I know I held myself back my whole life, some of it because of dyslexia, but it all falls on my own effort in the end.
Why do people have nothing, they don't try, and they don't push on with plans over misfortune, and self doubt. .
