Electricals
As I am getting interested in electricity and am trying to learn more I think that an electrical thread would be a good idea to store tips that I think are worth knowing. Here is a trick to join two wires that won’t come apart very easily.

Re: Electricals
If using a wire nut you do it the first way, if using a shrink wrap, or soldering the other.
It's best soldering both ways, but who has the time.
they make these little clips now that are great, you just push the wires into each end.

Re: Electricals
I love these things, used a lot of them.
I still tape them up, but you don't need to do so.

I’ve never seen those gadgets before. They look like a type of electric plug.

There are several kinds of those, you just cut the wire, and connect.
I like the shrink heat connectors better, but who had a heat gun in their pocket.

Love those things, but I still tape, saves on tape though.
When I redid our electric through the house I used quite a few different ones, the key is cut your wire the right length, and get it properly seated in the splicer.
