Now able to access email, forums, YouTube, and Google without having to go to a community centre downtown...
Free wi-fi at A&W restaurants and at food courts...

You can also likely use McDonalds WIFI, I think they have it.
Check around, maybe someone close by has it as well, you might get lucky, and can use it from home.

Yes, always clean, wipe, and factory reset the things if used.
I cleaned one for a woman once she got from a pawn shop, it had 240 viruses, and other bad things, and 7 remote accesses to it.
The porn on it was just disgusting stuff, scat, rapes, and fetish oriented garbage.
It had been deleted before sold to her, but was in the backup files.
