Zombie Q & A

I have a ton of questions about zombies ... let's see if there are any answers out there.

Can a zombie starve to death if there are no brains to be had?

Why don't zombies eat each other?

Zombies spend most of their time walking, which burns calories. Do zombies have minimum caloric intake requirements so they can keep walking?

Why do zombies control their growling until their prey turns and notices them?

Well zombies go dormant, and will look dead if they don't eat after a while.
They don't eat dead flesh so the other zombies are safe.
They are dead so no calories are burned, and they don't poop
They growl because they get excited otherwise they just moan like some on other forums.

I'm confused about The Walking Dead ... they've figured out that everyone is already infected with the virus, so presumably if they die with their head intact, they'll turn into zombies. Since everyone is already infected, why are they so worried when they get a scratch or a bite?

I thought the same thing, and think I mentioned that before in this thread.
If your infected your infected, and should die from it to become a zombie.

There are some inconsistencies in the story ... I'm beginning to think it's all made up ...

You see, the virus only mutates when you're dead. The dead already have the mutated virus. So when you get bitten or scratched from the dead, the mutated virus gets into your system.

Oh that may make since, it's a dormant virus like shingles I guess, and can reactivate at some time.

That may be a made up answer, but it really makes sense!

I also wonder why the zombies' clothes never fall off ... but that's probably the same reason that the Incredible Hulk's clothes pants never tear. Keeping it family friendly! (well, except for the extreme gore and violence ...)

I wonder what kind of skin cream they use  they should be jerky after a year in the weather like they are.

Good point! I wonder if they are susceptible to skin cancer? And for that matter, can they freeze to death?

Looks like they would freeze, but so far no sign of it.
It would be a great time to load them all up to take to a giant pit.

There’s a lot of zombie towns in Nairobi and no doubt many other towns in Africa. What an insane world. Where’s Black Lives Matter when they are actually needed.

After all that glue sniffing and a low IQ to start with I doubt that they have enough brains to do hardly anything.

We had a glue sniffer in our neighborhood when I was a kid, he acted just like a zombie.
One day he was following me, and my brother, he was after my brother for some reason.
I picked up a rock off the railroad, and threatened to smash his head in, he stopped, and wondered away.
Later an older friend of ours went to his house, and his old father said he would try, but he wouldn't listen anymore.
Our friend said he would kill him if he followed us anymore, he had a shotgun on his back.

Not much will get through to them, they are so fried that their brain is full of holes like with late stage syphilis.

We never saw the glue sniffer anymore by the way, I hope the father took him in for help if there was any at the time.
