Pyramid Mysteries

Well this discovery would be interesting. Especially if the tomb isn't looted. There are so many pyramids all over the world yet many people not only don't know about them but if you try to tell them about it they won't even believe it, some will even mock you for believing it. Take for example the Guanches pyramidsw on the Canary Islands. The Guanches were a blonde blue eyed aboriginal population that built pyramids. This is very interesting yet most people haven't even heard of them. The pyramid in this article is in Turkey. I hadn't ever heard about a Turkish pyramid. Had anybody else here on this forum heard about a Turkish pyramid ? Surely something that big must have been noticed by someone over the centuries

I have seen that before, but didn't know it was a pyramid as much as a mound. It's an old site, I wonder if they just got permission to study inside it.
A few pyramids have been found the last few years in the south American Jungle, and satellite views show potential for many more if anyone can get to them, and is well funded.
Oh, and more in Egypt's desert have been found, but the Brotherhood wants them destroyed, as well as any antiquity they get a hand on.
Idiots.

Alaska Underground Pyramid

July 26 2012
In a two-part report, Linda interviewed retired U. S. Army counterintelligence Warrant Officer Douglas Mutschler who'd been puzzled by a USGS map in his intell work that had a large whited out area between Mt. McKinley and Nome, Alaska. Then, on an evening in November 1992 on Channel 13 in Anchorage, Alaska, he and 39 others in his unit were in a Ft. Richardson cafeteria when they all watched a news program about the discovery of a very large pyramidal structure underground between Mt. McKinley and Nome, Alaska, that was discovered when geologists studied crust images during the May 22, 1992, large underground nuclear detonation in China. After the newscast, Mutschler went to the Channel 13 TV news station to get a dub of the report and was told by the General Manager that no such broadcast had occurred. He knew that was not the truth and when he was leaving the station, a TV technician approached him and said privately that the underground pyramid in Alaska story had aired, but afterward someone ordered the story erased. Later, when he sought out information on the topic at a classified archive in Fort Meade, two men showed up and told him to leave the subject alone.

August 30 2012
In response to her July 2012 Coast broadcast about the alleged large underground pyramid in Alaska west of Mount McKinley, another source emerged. She spoke with "John Smith," who said he was the son of a Western Electric and AT&T engineer and that his father shared with him details about working 700 feet underground on a pyramidal structure in Alaska that had "technology completely unknown at the time" when he was employed there from 1959 to 1961. His father said the job site in Alaska was run by the military, and he was transported there in a bus with blacked out windows. Smith told her that his father surmised they were using the pyramid's angles to distribute energy, or to accelerate energy, and that based on this, energy costs should be far lower than what we currently pay.

In Ronan, Montana, not far from Missoula, there has been a recent bloodless, trackless cow mutilation in which the local veterinarian did a complete necropsy and confirmed that the cow's heart and pericardium had been removed "surgically" along with other surgically excised tissue from the cow's body. The ground was wet from rain and there were no tracks near the mutilated cow's body except other cow tracks that had approached the downed cow. In an interview, the veterinarian who did the necropsy, Beth Blevins, said "in 26 years as a veterinarian in Montana, I've never seen anything like this before." Linda also reported on similar, inexplicable animal mutilation cases in Idaho, Colorado, and Argentina.

Pyramid Mysteries

This is long but very interesting. There are so many impossibilities about these pyramids. It seems impossible for me to believe that the PHD historians aren't mystified also by these same questions. Could it be what some of the top Egyptologists know many t hings about these pyramids that they will not tell us ? That is a very interesting point made that the Easter Island statues do not look Polynesian at all. One interesting thing that I noticed was that there were 6 fingers. Weren't the nephelim supposed to have had 6 fingers ? Those three sites in Peru being situated perfectly to form a triangle is an interesting coincidence with the triangle being the symbol representing satan.

There are hundreds of Chinese pyramids but almost nobody has ever heard of them. I wonder what the real reasons are that the chinese government is trying to keep them secret. Is the line around the world with so many strange ancient sites on it . Could this possibly be the pre flood equator ? Even this long video had no mention of the very unusual Canary Island pyramids. The off of Africa Islands that had blond blue eyes aboriginals who built pyramids. I suspect that they are afraid that interest in this post people will lead to the masses discovering some truth[s] that they don't want us knowing yet

Egypt dig unearths 3,600-year-old mummy

Post: # 74936Unread post Gary Oak »

This is really old. I wonder what new findings they will find ? Did the embalming of this mummy also contain cocaine and nicotine which could only have come from the Americas ?

http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/13/world/afr ... ?hpt=wo_t3

(CNN) -- Archaeologists say they unearthed a rare find during a dig in Egypt: a sarcophagus that's 3,600 years old -- with a mummy still inside.

Egypt's state-run Al-Ahram newspaper reported Thursday that a team working on a routine excavation at a tomb in Luxor uncovered the painted, human-shaped sarcophagus.

It dates back to 1600 B.C., when the Pharaonic 17th Dynasty reigned in Egypt, the country's Supreme Council of Antiquities said.

Men dig up the sarcophagus in Luxor. The sarcophagus belonged to a top government official, reports say.

The sarcophagus belonged to a top government official, whose mummy was enclosed inside, Al-Ahram said, citing Egypt's antiquities minister, Mohamed Ibrahim.

The sarcophagus is engraved with titles of the official, but archaeologists haven't yet been able to identify him, Ibrahim said.

The Spanish-Egyptian team also found two other burials while digging at the Draa Abul-Naga necropolis on Luxor's west bank, Al-Ahram reported, but both were empty.

"It is believed they were robbed in antiquity," the newspaper reported.

Father of Akhenaten, the monotheistic Sun worshiper.
About a handful of rulers later was Tut.
Those statues remind me of Ramses, he had the most built like that, he was truly in love with himself.

Interesting,
You know i have seen missile silos like that, but not that high, and conspicuous.
That looks more hollow also, not so protective as a regular nuclear silo.

Neat site, but I didn't see a monolith, or pyramid on that site.
It would be easy to build one with all those basalt columns, I remember an island built out of them that was a trade center at one time by ancient people.

I recommend opening the page at the bottom of the article posted here and watching this very interesting video. IT sdoes seem that there still is a lot that we don't know about the pyramids of Giza.

Chamber of secrets: Ancient Egyptian pyramid defense ‘machine’ protected pharaoh’s tomb from within

“Primitive machines” were constructed inside Egypt’s pyramids to protect the royal tombs of Pharaohs from robbers and looters, according to digital reproductions created by archaeologists.
The reproductions of the early anti-burglary mechanism offer an insight into some of the mysteries surrounding ancient Egyptian tombs.

The digital model suggests that tomb raiders were kept out of the royal funerary chambers inside the Great Pyramid of Giza using a protective mechanism, which was shown on an episode of the Science Channel’s series “Unearthed.

An archaeologist with the program said ancient Egyptians did not just rely on prayers for the protection of their kings, but also designed a detailed system to keep robbers out.

Every year, thousands of tourists flock to Egypt to see the Great Pyramid of Giza, which was constructed around 4,500 years ago and finished in 2,560 BC under Pharaoh Khufu’s rule.

American archaeologist Dr Mark Lehner was able to work out how the defense system inside the pyramid worked and called it a “very primitive machine.”

In a small room inside the pyramid beside the king’s chambers, he explained how the tomb was protected from potential plunderers.

“Here, Khufu’s builders designed a line of defense against anyone who had entered the king’s chamber, had they got this far,” Lenher said during the program. “These grooves and protrusions are not decorative – they are part of a very primitive machine.”

Passageways remained unprotected, so ancient Egyptians carved the grooves outside the entrance of the tomb and fitted large granite slabs into them to cut off the path of any potential looters who had managed to get so deep into the pyramid.

Archeologists have been aware of the system since the 19th century, according to the IBTimes, but a digital version of the system was unveiled for the first time in the documentary.

As a result of understanding the security system in more depth, the research could lead archaeologists to discover new chambers inside the ancient structures, IBTimes reported.

Some experts believe that the newly discovered chambers were simply “fake” and used to trick robbers into believing they the real thing.

Khufu’s remains are believed to be located somewhere in the pyramid and modern technology could be the key to uncovering more details about the pharaoh and his tomb.

The digital graphics were formed by cosmic rays used by the Scans Pyramid project in Egypt, which formed a 3D map of the pyramid’s inner design and structure to better understand the design of the ancient buildings.

They have found in the great pyramid an opening to a room, but i think nothing is in it. The thing is there is likely more, and maybe a tomb they have not found in it.

Mexican pyramid has two more inside, scientists discover
Kukulkan pyramid built like ‘Russian nesting doll’ – a second structure had already been found under its exterior and now a third has been revealed

Experts have discovered a third structure within the Kukulkan pyramid in eastern Mexico, revealing that it was built like a “Russian nesting doll”, experts said on Wednesday.

A 10-metre-tall pyramid was found within another 20metre structure, which itself is enveloped by the 30-metre exterior visible at the Maya archeological complex known as Chichen Itza in Yucatán state.

The smallest pyramid was built between the years 550 and 800, engineers and anthropologists said. The middle structure had already been discovered in the 1930s and dates back to the years 800-1000, while the largest one was finished between 1050 and 1300.

The discovery suggests that the pyramid, also known as El Castillo (The Castle), was built in three phases.

“It’s like a Russian nesting doll. Under the large one we get another and another,” said René Chávez Seguro, project chief and geophysics expert.

Structures were built on top of each other for various reasons, including deterioration or the arrival of new leadership, said Denisse Argote, expert at the National Anthropology and History Institute.

The smallest pyramid was spotted using non-invasive scanning techniques.

The discovery could shed light on the original Maya culture before it was influenced by populations from central Mexico, Argote said.

In 2015 archeologists discovered the Kukulkan pyramid was built atop a cenote, or sinkhole lake, which are common in the region and sacred to the Maya

I read that the other day, but the thing is in the 80s they discovered the same thing in several of them. Apparently they built on top of a lot of structures, and religious sites, some on caves, and tombs.

Surely this cavity is there for a reason. What ic it ? Do some secretly know ?

Ancient Egypt: Secret Room Discovered in Great Pyramid by Archaeologists Armed With Lasers

An international team of archaeologists believes it is on the cusp of pinpointing the location of a secret room hidden within the Great Pyramid of Giza as it uses cutting-edge laser technology to map the 4,500-year-old ancient Egyptian wonder.

Medhi Tayoubi, president of the Heritage Innovation Preservation Institute heading the ScanPyramids project, said that the team, which use infrared thermography to map sub atomic particles, had confirmed there was a hidden room inside the structure. Now the archaeologists need to find its exact location. We know there is a secret room, but not where it is," Tayoubi said according to the Italian newspaper La Stampa.

However, other archaeologists collaborating on the project are being more cautious in their projections. Egypt's former Minister of Antiquities Zahi Hawass characterized what had been discovered thus far as “anomalies” or “small voids” between the stones.

In October last year the group announced their discovery of a previously undiscovered cavity 105 meters high in a north eastern section of the pyramid. It was hoped the discovery could be a corridor.

The Great Pyramid is also known as the Pyramid of Khufu for the fourth dynasty pharaoh who built it between 2580–2560 B.C. The modern tourist attraction has a rich and storied history of adventurer explorers searching for an elusive Pharaonic treasure inside. They often used methods less sensitive than lasers. In 820 A.D. the Caliph al-Mamoun began digging tunnels into the walls of the mammoth building in search of its secrets. The British and Italian 19th century Egyptologists Richard Vyse and Giovanni Battista Caviglia blasted holes in the pyramid using dynamite.

"Just like X-rays pass through our bodies allowing us to visualise our skeleton, these elementary particles, weighing around 200 times more than electrons, can very easily pass through any structure, even large and thick rocks, such as mountains," Tayoubi told Discovery News in 2015 when describing the 21st century techniques being used at Giza.

It is hoped the success of the new technology will lead to further discoveries. British Egyptologist Nicholas Reeves believes the remains of the 14th century B.C. Egyptian queen Nefertiti were hidden in a secret chamber in the tomb of Tutankhamun. A team from Politecnico University in Turin, Italy will use methods used in medical scans creating magnetic fields to investigate the site in the Valley of the Kings once again.
