Don't forget Blue, that I know a thing or two about pools, since I have been working with them for about 5 years now. Keeping in mind that safety is always paramount, an elevator would have to extend past the upper surface of the pool with an guardrailed platform and a ladder going in from the platform. There would not be allowed a means of getting in from the bottom because of a risk of drowning, and there is absolutely no place for safety equipment that is mandatory in legitimate pools all around the world such as liferings and pole gaffes. This pool can not be real, because it wouln't be allowed to be built under any municipal, state, provincial, or federal building code.

I think it's a clever Photoshop. Perhaps an architectural concept mock up.

Just look at the scale of the people compared to the building. The scale is wrong.

There is pools like that around the world, seen a few on TV. Others do have elevators from below, and a few with islands that open up to stairs.
Most are just added to an open level though, that's more normal.

Here is the one in the photo, it's not built yet. https://shareably.net/infinity-pool-skyscraper-london/

Tennessee Passes Controversial Law Allowing Drivers to Injure Protesters Without Civil Liability

Tennessee Passes Controversial Law Allowing Drivers to Injure Protesters Without Civil Liability

A new law in Tennessee states that while drivers who injure protesters may face criminal charges, the injured protesters cannot sue the drivers in civil court.

We have previously told you about eight states that were proposing similar measures to criminalize different forms of protesting. Minnesota, Indiana, Iowa and North Dakota are considering allowing drivers to run over protesters without any civil liabilities.

[RELATED: Death Of The First Amendment? 8 States Propose Laws To Criminalize Protesting]

Tennessee has now joined that effort to allow drivers to run over protesters who are blocking the street free from civil liability, as long as the driver exercised “due care.”

Senate Bill 994, an insane piece of legislation that would have our Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves, easily passed the state Senate on Friday and will go into effect on July 1.

Tennessee State Sen. Bill Ketron introduced the bill. In a statement he said:

“We believe that citizens have the right to protest. There is a procedure for peaceful protests and the purpose of that process is to protect the safety of our citizens. Protesters have no right to be in the middle of the road or our highways for their own safety and the safety of the traveling public.”

Tennessee State Rep. Matthew Hill sponsored House Bill 668 and has said the bill was written in response to protesters around the country putting themselves and others in danger.

“This is meant to hopefully help people in the car and out of the car be safe, stay safe,” Hill said. “If you want to protest, that’s fine, whatever the issue is, but do it safely, do it peaceably, and do it out of our roads.”

However, critics of the bill argue that the bill will demonize protest and protesters through “intimidation.”

“It just sounds like a law that’s trying to intimidate folks from protesting,” Personal Injury Lawyer Tony Seaton said.

The bill is one page and states the following:

(a) A person driving an automobile who is exercising due care and injures another person who is participating in a protest or demonstration and is blocking traffic in a public right-of-way is immune from civil liability for such injury.

(b) A person shall not be immune from civil liability if the actions leading to the injury were willful or wanton.

What the bill fails to define is what “due care” means, or how it is determined. In layman terms, what the bill does is prevent an injured protester from suing the person who inflicted the injury.

The bill does not provide criminal prosecution protection so that would mean that the state could still bring charges against those they see fit that failed to use “due care” when injuring the protester.

Seaton explained that the bill does not protect from willful negligence and noted that the driver will still be held responsible if he or she intentionally runs someone over.

“If you accidentally but negligently run over somebody, you’re going to be responsible,” Seaton said. “If you intentionally run over somebody, you’re not only going to be responsible, you’re going to probably be charged criminally.”

Does this law set a precedent for other states, or is it justified given the recent tactic of protesters blocking roadways and in some cases preventing ambulances or other emergency vehicles from passing? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!

Venezuelan warship shoots, rams into German cruise vessel before sinking
US indicted socialist Venezuelan president for narcotics operation with terrorists

BERLIN – A Venezuelan navy ship fired shots at a German-owned cruise ship on March 30 and rammed into the passenger vessel, leading to the sinking of the warship in the Caribbean.
The Iranian regime-allied Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro accused the captain of the RCGS RESOLUTE cruise ship of “terrorism and piracy" and sought to force the ship into a new direction on the high seas. The cruise ship, which had no passengers on board and was flying under a Portuguese flag, has a reinforced hull that enables it to sail through ice water.

RCGS Resolute is a purpose built polar expedition vessel of the highest ice class, rated 1A Super, designed to operate in difficult ice conditions.

Columbia Cruise Services, the Hamburg-based company that owns the RCGS RESOLUTE, issued a statement on Wednesday: “In the early morning hours of the 30th of March 2020 (local time), the cruise vessel RCGS RESOLUTE has been subject to an act of aggression by the Venezuelan Navy in international waters, around 13.3 nautical miles from Isla de Tortuga with 32 crew member and no passengers on board.”
The company added that “When the event occurred, the cruise vessel RCGS RESOLUTE has already been drifting for one day off the coast of the island to conduct some routine engine maintenance on its idle voyage to its destination, Willemstad/ Curaçao. As maintenance was being performed on the starboard main engine, the port main engine was kept on standby to maintain a safe distance from the island at any time.”
Columbia Cruise Services continued, stating that “Shortly after mid-night, the cruise vessel was approached by an armed Venezuelan navy vessel, which via radio questioning the intentions of the RCGS RESOLUTE’s presence and gave the order to follow to Puerto Moreno on Isla De Margarita. As the RCGS RESOLUTE was sailing in international waters at that time, the Master wanted to reconfirm this particular request resulting into a serious deviation from the scheduled vessel’s route with the company DPA.”
According to the statement, “While the Master was in contact with the head office, gun shots were fired and, shortly thereafter, the navy vessel approached the starboard side at speed with an angle of 135° and purposely collided with the RCGS RESOLUTE. The navy vessel continued to ram the starboard bow in an apparent attempt to turn the ship’s head towards Venezuelan territorial waters.”
The cruise company said the RCGS RESOLUTE sustained minor damages, not affecting vessel’s seaworthiness, it occurs that the navy vessel suffered severe damages while making contact with the ice-strengthened bulbous bow of the ice-class expedition cruise vessel RCGS RESOLUTE and started to take water.”
There were no deaths among the Venezuelan marines aboard the war ship. The Venezuelan authorities returned the navy personnel to safety.

The US Justice Department indicted the socialist President Maduro last month for running a criminal narcotics operation comprised of drug traffickers and terrorist groups.
The US State Department announced $15 million reward for information leading to the arrest or conviction of Maduro.

Hi Blue. No, no one knows why yet as he didn't leave any notes or messages anywhere. We do know that the death toll is up to 19 with likely more as some of the people who's homes were burned down have turned up missing so far. Definitely pre-meditated. He had an old police car that he somehow managed to get the paint and markings for as well as a police uniform. This is now the biggest mass murder in Canadian history. Also, he apparently knew some of the victims and didn't know others. In other words all we know is here.
My own speculation is that as a small businessman, he may have been under a lot of stress when everything got shut down over the virus. Maybe he saw his business disappearing, who knows.

Interesting, if the shutdown pushed him I sure hope more isn't to follow his lead.
i know a person about to loose their business, they expected some help a few weeks back, but Poloci stopped that help in Congress.
His wife has terminal cancer, and he is already distraught.

I read today Kim Jun Ill is Ill, maybe brain dead after a heart attack, and surgery.
i wonder who we would get next from that country.
A smart move would be someone that would open up the country some to bring in business from the world, and some up to date relations.
They could still be in control, but would profit them a lot, and help their people.

The police that killed the guy should be in jail, but about every one of there people need to be there with him if not all.

Hmmm. I can see where there would be anger and all over the cops killing the black man. But the looting and rioting? Where does that mentality come from? I think I can shed some light on that.
