Pope Benedict Is Stepping Down, New Pope Is Being Chosen

Post: # 31699Unread post Gary Oak »

If that prophecy is correct then we will soon know who this last pope is. If this is correct then he will also be an important player in the last days scenario. Is it just a coincidence that Obamas second term, December 21 2012 and the last pope all come together in the smae few months ? This Obamas second term I suspect is going to be an eventful number of years

The prophecy is poo, the one in Danial is where the people was banished, persecuted, and then allowed to come home.
The Revelations one is about Rome, and Nero.
There should be no pope, the office is a sham, and nothing in the bible condones it.
You have deacons, and elders for each group of Christians to take care of the flock, that is all.
Some man putting himself up as a God is just wrong, or the Vicker of Christ.
Sorry I just hate the papacy .

I have to agree with blue. Also some of the stuff said above had nothing to do with bible or catholics or Christians. People like to believe that though. Those people think everything is related to their religion.

I hate to say it again but the bible is the manual script for new world order. Everything happen accordingly.

Anti= against

I don't believe that Obama is the antichrist. There is a nut here at the library going on and on about Prince William being the big AC however you can't tell him anything.

I have seen people calling him that on other sites, so silly in my view.
My guess if I believed in that it would be someone you never hear of, or seen before till to late.

Nice catch who ever took that unless it's a video capture.
As it looks like it's a rainy eve there, and lightning does happen, and that's the highest point I wouldn't know why lightning would hit that
I wonder how many times a year it's hit with that lightning rod on top.

LOL what did God do, have to think about it for a few hours

Video http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraphtv/ ... signs.html

in my post earlier I didn't put what the Catholic church is, Constantine is the real founder of the institution.
He had it made to help control the people, and as a center point for his new Empire he brought together .
As it spread so did his control of the Roman world.
What cannot be controlled by man surely God can, so he used the religion that just wouldn't go away.

It was struck six hours after he resigned, and likely days before he thought about it or weeks. I think God would have struck it without thinking on it that long.
The place is hit 40-50 times a year, and has a huge lightning rod on top, it will get hit a lot being the highest building in the area.

With lightning hitting it that many times a year a lot of bad things are happening, maybe like the earthquake hitting Haiti, and the kids killed lately by the bad man
Yes being cynical here, but you get me right ?

Secretive Steps To Choose The Next Pope

Post: # 31807Unread post Gary Oak »

Well we shall soon see who this next and according that "legend" last pope will be. I of course had no idea when I started this thread that Pope Benedict was about to step down. I do strongly suspect that this next pope is going to be an important player in the last days scenario

A notorious hater is being considered to be the leader of a gigantic supposedly christian church ? Why does this seem odd ?

Will A Notorious Anti-Semite Become The Pope?

http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org

Among those being considered to succeed Pope Benedict XVI is a notorious anti-Semite, Cardinal Andres Rodriguez Maradiaga of Honduras. His name has appeared on various media short lists and his photograph was featured, along with other possible candidates, on the front page of the Miami Herald.

He was also under consideration the last time around, and his Latin American heritage is considered a plus this time. He is very charismatic and popular in his home country and was recently invited to speak to Latino Catholics in the United States.

To put it most simply, Rodriguez Maradiaga is an out and out Jew-hater. He has said that "the Jews" are to blame for the scandal surrounding the sexual misconduct of priests toward young parishioners! The Jews? How did Rodriguez Maradiaga ever come up with this hair-brained idea?

Here is his "logic." He begins by asserting that the Vatican is anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian (as he says it should be). It follows, therefore, that "the Jews" had to get even with the Catholic Church, while at the same time deflecting attention away from Israeli injustices against the Palestinians. The Jews managed to do this by arranging for the media - which he says they control - to give disproportionate attention on the Vatican sex scandal.

Listen to Rodriguez Maradiaga's own words:

"It certainly makes me think that in a moment in which all the attention of the mass media was focused on the Middle East, all the many injustices done against the Palestinian people, the print media and the TV in the United States became obsessed with sexual scandals that happened 40 years ago, 30 years ago.

Why? I think it's also for these motives: What is the church that has received Arafat the most times and has most often confirmed the necessity of the creation of a Palestinian state?

What is the church that does not accept that Jerusalem should be the indivisible capital of the State of Israel, but that it should be the capital of the three great monotheistic religions?"

Rodriguez Maradiaga then goes on to compare the Jewish controlled media with "Hitler," because they are "protagonists of what I do not hesitate to define as a persecution against The Church."

The prime media culprit in Rodriguez Maradiaga's bizarro world is the Boston Globe, which has won numerous journalistic awards for its exposure of the sex scandal and cover up.

The Globe is owned by The New York Times, which is controlled by the Sulzberger family. Hence the Jewish conspiracy. The problem (among so many) with this cockamamie theory is that the Jewish community of Boston was very close to, and admiring of, Cardinal Bernard Law, who presided over the archdiocese during the scandal.

Cardinal Law had built bridges between the Catholic and Jewish communities of Boston, and when the scandal was exposed by the very un-Jewish Boston Globe, the Jewish community remained largely supportive of Law.

None of the leading media critics, lawyers or politicians who railed against the church were Jewish. Most were Catholic. But that didn't matter to the bigoted cardinal, who -- along with other classic anti-Semites -- believes that if there is a problem, "the Jews" must be to blame for it.

As James Carrol, the distinguished columnist for the Boston Globe who is himself a Catholic, has characterized Rodriguez Maradiaga's "crackpot" mindset: "when the church has a problem - here is the oldest move of all - blame the Jews."

When asked whether he wanted to reconsider his attack, Rodriguez Maradiaga replied: "I don't repent... sometimes it is necessary to shake things up." He later promised Abe Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League that he wouldn't repeat his conspiratorial nonsense, but he has refused to publicly apologize or "repent."

The Vatican has rightly called anti-Semitism a "sin," and yet an unrepentant sinner is on the short list to become the leader of the Catholic Church. Is it because the other cardinals are unaware of Rodriguez Maradiaga's anti-Semitism? Unlikely, because he has made no secret of his bigotry against the Jews. Or is it because not enough of them care as much as they should?

Final Pope already Running The Vatican ?

'Final Pope' Already Running Vatican?

http://www.wnd.com

Did Pope Benedict XVI line up his successor and then resign to fulfill a 900-year-old prophecy that the next leader of the Roman Catholic Church would be history's "final pope?"

The idea was posed by Tom Horn, co-author of the book "Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope is Here."

As WND reported, Horn and his co-author, Cris Putnam, accurately predicted Benedict would become the first pope in nearly 600 years to resign.

Horn believes the last pope, called "Petrus Romanus" in the prophecy by Irish Archbishop St. Malachy, could be the man who is set to take over interim leadership the moment Benedict resigns Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. local time, becoming the acting Vatican head of state.

The claim centers on Cardinal Tarcisio Pietro (Peter in English) Evasio Bertone, born in Romano Canavese, Piedmont, the current secretary of state for the Vatican, who Pope Benedict XVI appointed Camerlengo, or Chamberlain, of the Holy Roman Church April 4, 2007.

In the period known as "sede vacante," when there is no sitting pope, Bertone will be called upon as Camerlengo to serve as the head of the Roman Catholic Church.

He will be in charge until the College of Cardinals attending the upcoming Papal Conclave in the Sistine Chapel select a new pope.

Did Benedict choose his successor?

Benedict XVI has made decisions that indicate Bertone could be, or at least once was, his choice for successor, Horn told WND.

Working alongside Bertone, Benedict appeared to be "stacking the deck" in Bertone's favor Jan. 6, 2012, when he named 22 new cardinals. Most are Europeans, primarily Italians, already holding key Vatican positions.

As a result, Europeans currently number over half of all cardinal-electors, 67 out of 125. Nearly a quarter of all voters in the conclave will be Italian.

"When he appointed these new cardinals,
