The Golden Triangle

Post: # 25752Unread post Gary Oak »

[video][/video]

It looks like the Golden Triangle is still open for business. The oawner of the casino is Chinese and almost certainly a member of the Jee Gong Tong which makes his a sworn brother of all top chinese mafia all over the world. Thai soldiers were invoved in killing the chinese sailors so the Thai goveernment is still involved in the heroin business in spite of it's strict penalties for drugs

Interesting that the government let them do it since they kill politicians on the take when brought forward.
Makes me think of the Opium wars.

Khun Sa

Here is one of the main players. It is interesting that the refineries by the Thai Burma border are mainly powerful syndicates mostly based in Hong Kong and Macao. Khun Sa says that he intends to quit opium when certain conditions are met but this is obviously duplicity. He has no intentions of stopping the industry that has made him rich and powerful. He is half Chinese and it is a very safe bet that he is a Jee Gong Tong member which also makes him sworn brother of all top chinese triads members all over the world. At the party I heard his speaking to the crowd there. The Shan state had already had a sizeable chinese population before the KMT's secret army moved in and they already were involved in the opium business there. The chinese only allied with the tribal groups out of necessity and to blend in as the Burmese demanded they return to China or Taiwan

In 1063 burma supported Ka Kwe Ye militias to fight communists and other anti government elements in return for modest material concessions and Chang Ch'i Fu's [ Khun Sa ] Loimaw KKY was one of them.In 1965 when heroin was declared illegal Burma ignored their heroin cultivationa smuggling and trading as long as they resisted Burmas enemies however these KKY's resisted fighting the communists, other rebels and Chinese secret army in China. Many members of Chang Ch'i Fu's [ Khun Sa ] Loimaw KKY even worked for Taiwans Intelligence Bureau of the Ministry of National Defence. [ The Secret Army PAGE 254 ] On July 1 1975 the Peoples Republic of China and Thailand exchanged diplomatic recognition and with Laos ,now united Vietnam and Cambodia all communist as well having a Taiwan army on their soil was provocative. Taiwan disbanded it's armies in Thailand and sent about half of them to join Chang Ch'i Fu's Heroin militia [ The Secret Army page 277 ]

Taiwan's secret army were the main controllers of the Golden Triangle heroin from around 1950 to 1965 when Chang Ch'i Fu [ Khun Sa ] started avoiding paying their taxes and other extortion fees. In 1965 the KMT saw the threat to their control of this lucrative industry which led to the 1965 Second Opium War between Chang Ch'i Fu's Loimaw KKY. Laos's Col. Ouon Rathikoun who the Loimaw was trading with who was in charge of western Laos sent two planes out and bombed the both of them and the KMT secret army's stole the Loilaw KKY's opium and sold it to Ouon Rathikoun for the taxes and other fees that the Loimaw KKY avoided and Ouon Rathikoun got his heroin basically for free. [ The Secret Army page 255 ] This appears to be at about the time when Chang Ch'i Fu [Khun Sa ] started becoming the top player in the Golden Triangle.

Khun Sa's real name is Chang Ch'i Fu. This is a Chinese name. He says he wants to stop trading in opium. he says he stays in the Shan state and won't leave until he is satisfied with the state of affairs for Shan people in Burma. This is pure fiction. He is only allied with the Shan people out of necessity. Two of his deputies Chang Su-chuan and Liang Chung-ying were on the Taiwan militaries payroll from 1961 for over 30 years up until the early 90's.[ page 243 Secret Army by Richard M Gibson ] He is the dragonhead of the Golden Triangle heroin industry and is only there for this purpose. He is Chinese and can live in Taiwan if he ever desires to.His officers are all Chinese.

Here are some more facts on Chang Ch'i Fu

It's pretty handy with the casino, they can lander their own money, and likely just pay some kickbacks to the authorities, and officials .

The Secret Army In The Golden Triangle

Post: # 30565Unread post Gary Oak »

I am currently reading this fascinating book.Every paragraph is packed full of information. The Chinese had an army in another nation, collected taxes [ extorted the locals in the areas under their control as chinese mafias [ triads ] always do whenever they can get away with it. Opium was already being cultivated there as many Chinese had already moved into the Shan state and had already basically taken over many areas already. This same Chinese army supported the rebels against the Burmese government. This is an example of what happens when you allow these people into your nation. Notice how they hate and hated the Burmese much like they do everybody everywhere

I will have to read Lords Of The Rim again. This is where I first learned about this chinese army in Burma which controlled the golden triangles heroin however if my memory serves me correctly The Lords Of The Rim talked about ho the money from the Golden Triangel went through Taiwan propping up it's economy. Chiang Kai Shek used to raise money by selling heroin and kidnapping during his tenure before he lost the civil war [ it's no wonder everybody supported Mao Tse Tung who actually weas a great leader at that time ...to win the war ] Now the point i am trying to make is that this detail about the money going through Taiwan being omitted from this book The Secret Army may be disinformation that is deliberately being kept out. This author did work for the American embassy after all

It is interesting that the Thai Chief of police Phao Siyanon was also Thailands biggest opium dealer. Lao colonel Ouan Rathikoun who was in charge of the border area with Burma also aided the KMT secret army. Now as I suspect that this book though it has a lot of true facts I do suspect that American involvement and Taiwans involvement is being downplayed. I have heard that the police in North Vancouver were dealing cocaine.Witnesses of Clinton's cocaine flights have been assassinated. How many have been assassinated that nobody knows about ? Our own former Prime Minister Paul Martin moved his ship building empire to China which is all mafia and his crews are Russian which is also mafia. Is it simply coincidence that a 10 million $ shipment of cocaine on one of his ships ?

Taiwan also had a large number of Taiwan's special forces in the Golden triangle protecting their opium areas in a foreign nation defending this area from the Burmese army. Isn't this like Taiwan sending their special forces into Canada's oilsands and holding it illegally and defending it against the Canadian army ? Of course the USA army would come in and anihilate them immediately but it does seem outragious to me that they would have the gall to do this in a foreign nation. Notice how the chinese in Burma supported them against the nation that allowed them to immigrate

The Secret KMT army had a last harrah in Thailand helping the Thai military in 1981 take the last two mountian strongholds of the Communist Party Of Thailand's rebels. It is another interesting unproven fact but seems quite obvious that Communist China during the end of the cultural revolution in the mid 70's also got in on the opium smuggling in Burma while aiding the Communist Party Of Burma's rebels.

Now this video is quite interesting. They are speaking in manderin from 12 minutes in, the soldiers and the supposed to be tribeman. They are Chinese speaking manderin. The Chinese still obviously are controlling the poppy fields and therefor it is safe to assume have backing by the Jee Gong Tong which all top Chinese mafia or triads and top chinese police are also members of. You still have a Chinese army operating in another nation with the Chinese who have been allowed to immigrate to Burma supporting this Chinese army against their adoptive nation much like the Chinese in the Philippines supporting Chinas efforts to take islands away from The Philippines. The documentary crew have been decieved on the topic of who is really controlling this heroin producing area of Burma. Notice how zero Chinese viewer has commented that these are Chinese people in the video between 12 to 13 minutes in

The Political Economy of Smack: Opiates, Capitalism and Law
William J. Chambliss
From Research in Law and Sociology Vol. 1, 1978

The law may be hallowed, but it does not exist in a vacuum. That much sociologists and lawyers have come to agree upon. But agreement ends on precisely what it is in the social milieu of law that determines its content and shape. For longer than we should be happy to admit the embarrassingly simplistic view that the law reflected customs and norms dominated sociological reasoning. Conflict has now replaced consensus as the prevailing perspective within which the law is analyzed.

What type of conflict? And how much does that view tell us? More often that not conflict analyses focus on the events taking place within a particular nation-state. Thus it is that people today are studying the dynamic of the lawmaking process in Austria to see how the changes in abortion laws have come about in recent years. Others are studying the process of lawmaking vis-

Accepting, for the sake of argument, this average expenditure per addict enables us to also estimate the gross volume of business from heroin. If, as most experts agree, there are at least one million addicts in the United States, then this means that the annual gross sale of heroin in the United States today exceeds $30 billion [DuPont and Greene (11)]. Some sense of the importance of this industry to the national economy is gleaned from the fact that this would make the heroin industry comparable in gross volume of business to the largest corporations in the United States: in 1970 General Motors, Exxon, IBM, ITT, and a half dozen other of the largest multinational corporations in the world had a gross volume of business of less than $30 billion a year [Council of Economic Researches (8)].8 Indeed, there were only twenty countries in the world with a Gross National Product in excess of the gross volume of business in the heroin industry in the United States. (See Table 1.)

The Chiu Chow

Post: # 32342Unread post Gary Oak »

I found this paragragh in an interesting article on the Golden Triangle. The Chiu Chow [ Teo Chiu or Chaozhou Chinese ] have a connection to the Golden Triangle and it's heroin. The San Yi On's home is the district where they speak Chiu Chow [ Chaozhouhwa ]

The Chaozhou Chinese (originally from Chaozhou District, Guangdong Province) traced their roots in drug trafficking back to the days of organized crime in Shanghai after China's defeat in the Opium War (1839-42). Operating their maze of syndicates from Hong Kong, the Chaozhou Chinese had a virtual monopoly on the illicit opium and heroin trade, and the technology they used in converting opium to more easily transportable heroin was handed on to Chinese living in Thailand. The syndicates' intricate system of international couriers operated within Thailand to transport drugs both to local dealers and to the vast array of worldwide customers

I just think it's a shame governments like mine play the game, and is just as guilty as the so called bad guys.
They take our tax dollars, and say they are fighting it, but yet grow the stuff themselves to sell, and trade.
