I learned from my Indian coworker that punjabis are from Northern India. I always thought punjabi was just another name for Indians.

They are up there, and a totally different people than the south.
The ones I have met are quite nice people, and some pretty cool to be around after they find out you are not anti Punjabi.

If you get into Lower India they are almost black, well brown.
Still a lot of nice people, but very different than the North.

When blacks left Africa they traveled near the waters, you can still see it today in the peoples like in southern India, Indonesia, and the whole of the continent.
Even Australia with the Aboriginals.

So many Punjabi girls in Canada are stunningly gorgeous.

If you see a famous Indian girl on TV, or Bollywood shes likely Punjabi.
I think they are good looking people compared to a lot in that part of the world.
I would love to know more of their history as well as most of India.
