Up here, it is the bleeding hearts that run the courts.

They take the focus off the crime

and trot out how the criminal was abused, hard done by as a kid, on drugs etc.

The criminal does very little time, if any

The victims are left to fend for them selves, if they are still alive.

Even drunk drivers that kill and destroy families, have an easy jail time.

Very few do more than three years here.

The criminals have more rights than the average joe citizen.

Criminals get court appointed lawyers, they don't even need any money to pay for the legal service.

Joe citizen has to mortgage the house just for consultation.

I know RG, same here usually, and it's the working man that pays everything.
I asked for a court appointed lawyer once the judge laughed at me.
I made an contemptible comment, and paid my fine.

The areas have been so clear cut here, there are no bears, except at the very top where there are still trees standing.
